As expected, Vickers is active today... curious to see if that perks up the running game a bit.

    It definitely won't hurt.

The running game was developing quite a rhythm before he went out... and Kubiak himself basically said that he would be the starter over Casey, even when Casey was healthy.

Again, we were running the ball at will in games where teams were already expecting the run, overplaying for the run, and we still didn't have AJ. While Cleveland, Jacksonville, and TB aren't great teams, they each all are capable of playing decent run defense.

Yeah, I'm curious to see how the playing time breaks down, given that this is the first game all year that both are near 100%. If Vickers gets the majority of FB reps, then I hope Kubiak gets creative and gives Casey some time at TE (like the old days). With Andre out, I'm guessing you'll see a few 3-TE sets, and we need all the playmakers we can get.

Seems like Nate Clements is active for them? I guess it doesn't really matter. TJ is gonna be throwing to Arian and Owen all day anyway.

It would be so awesome to

    1. win the game
    2. win the division
    3. and for Yates to have another solid performance.

In the NFL, you just can't ignore seven in a row, no matter how much the media would like to.

While I agree with the seven in a row statement

    2 things though
    1) it's Houston we're talking about
    2) Media is on Green Bays tip... Can't blame them though what a 15 game ?winning streak dating back to last season

If the Texans don't win today it will mostly be because of how tough it is to win on the road this time of year.

More people picking the Bengals today... if this game was in Houston, I believe everybody would be picking the Texans unanimously.

Tebow also if they pull off another one against Chicago, which is likely. The media probably has a harder time championing old school run-first, hard defense football.

But who cares, nobody can ignore a week 14 clinch!

Mainly because its a road game. If this game was in Houston, I doubt any of them would pick the Bengals... then again, they all picked Atlanta last week.

Not to jinx, but I want to go get my AFC South Division Champs shirt later today, where can I get one?

    Academy?

I yearn for the years of going to various stores and buying up Rockets Championship memorabilia.

I miss going to a place like Foleys to go look for stuff. That was fun. :(

I want to get one straight after this game, and the Titans lose.
