Of course there are reasons why the Steelers are 4-2, with Troy P's injury being a big reason. I've just never been a big proponent of "well, if so-and-so was playing, then they'd be better." It's akin to saying, "well, if you take away his 3 longest run, then his YPC plummets." If Palmer played more than 3 games last year, the Bengals might not have sucked. But he didn't play, so they sucked, and no one would claim otherwise. I mean, if the Bengals had all the Steelers' players and coaches, then we'd have won two Super Bowls in the last 10 years. So there.
Troy is more important to the Steelers than Palmer is to the Bengals. Troy makes that defense Super Bowl worthy. Carson only makes the Bengals offense "respectable". All that being said, the two teams are tied despite Palmer playing all the games, and Troy not playing all but one. That says a lot.
