i turn the game on for the first time all day, notice we've moved from 14-17 to 28-17 and are on the 10 and that schaub's stats are huge, and 2 plays later, after a penalty and thinking that a fumble is the only thing that could hurt us, promptly see a fumble and then see about 9 texans completely whiff on the recovery. this team can't stand success. ahh, it seems the bengals own ineptness may save us from ours.
holding is the most B.S and inconsistently called penalty in football. These holding penalties can single handedly change outcomes of games, and unfortunately calling them is left to the discretion of the officials. There should be a way to limit the inconsistency in calling the holds
Does anybody know what it is about Slaton that leads to the fumbling problem? Is it technique, concentration, physcial limitations, etc...?
Unfortunately holding happens on almost every play, even when not called. Just seems the refs call it tighter sometimes and other times not so much.
