Do we have any more Sunday night games? I don't want to hear Chris Collingsworth ever again. What a jerk; he has a love fest with whoever Houston's opponent is.
**(Initial thoughts?): Been doing this a long time. Not sure I'm more proud of a team. Difficult night for offensive football. Needed to find a way to win playing [w/] great D and special teams. Great win. **(What it means to go on the road and get a win?): We knew we were playing a tough team. We turned the ball over and helped them but it was a night difficult to hang on to the ball. ST, the kick at the end, none bigger than that. **(Defense?): They were exceptional. 2 great defenses. Ours was absolutely exceptionally, especially in the 3rd Q. Wade and the coaches doing a hell of a job. Have to play to that strength. **It was ugly in the 2nd half but mustered up a FG and held onto the ball. **Win is very big. Important your team believes you can win in a lot of ways. You gain confidence when you win multiple ways. **Arian was exceptional. Some battlin' yards. He came to me w/ 8 minutes left and said just give it to me. He kept battlin'. He's a special player. **Manning, he almost closed it late but he's coming back home, that was important to him, he's always playing well. He's consistent for us. **We won the turnover battle. We're a plus there and that was important coming in. **Very unpredictable weather, made it difficult all night. You want to get aggressive but nothing to hurt the game. Tried to play to the defense and got out of here with a win. **Dobbins has a shoulder we're dealing with, Bradie has a thumb, and that's where we're at.
The early injury report for the Jaguars game next week lists Maurice Jones-Drew as Doubtful (Foot) and Blane Gabbert as Questionable (Fear).
I'm not sure why the media continually keeps insulting the 85 Bears defense like that. There hasn't been a defense like the 85 Bears defense.
Before the game, I knew if the Texans won or went even on TOs and didn't get killed on special teams, they would probably win. The Bears have been on an unsustainable magic carpet ride with TO differential and special teams. I felt it was about over when Campbell came out to start the 2nd half. Not saying Cutler would have done much better, but Campbell just isn't any good. Ravens play the Steelers twice in the next 3 weeks plus they will lose other games on their schedule. Unless something weird happens, Texans locked up home field advantage with this win.
Nope, the media will ignore us and focus on how Cutler wasnt in the second half to throw 3 more int. Some how the Bears did not play well? You know how it goes.... The football world just scared of the Texans, and the only way to keep them at bay is to try to put them in the back burner..
Does yall know where to find good Texans Photoshop threads, like when we beat a team and the shop a bear rug wit blood on it, stuff like that?
