    We don't even have a kicker that can make a 50 yd FG in perfect conditions, but the Bears can make one in hard rain?

    Well, if it takes games like this (or down the road) to get this team to commit real resources to kickers (or special teams overall), then so be it.

    Right now, they've gotten by with smoke and mirrors in the kicking game... because it hasn't cost them games, and they don't normally have to rely on it.

    You still need the boot, but if Schaub can't maintain a grip on the ball, you can't send guys 15+ yards deep.

    What sucks is the conditions shrinks your playbook....which makes it even tougher to get anything past this defense.
