Minnesota Vikings have agreed to 1-yr deal with Josh Freeman. Oh well... it was never gonna happen here anyway.

I know. Like I said before, I really like Kubiak. I don't agree with him being stubborn or loyal and keeping Schaub at Qb or for not changing his offense a bit.
Sounds like he's going to stick with Matt any ways just listening to him. He's going to go down with this ship or Schaub is going to pull a miracle and turn it around. I expected this time for him to at least be a bit vague about it. I know a coach is never going to come out right after a game and say "Yeah he sucked, we're benching him for the Rams next week." and that even Kubiak would open the competition a bit. But I've heard plenty of coaches skirt around it at least and say "Oh we'll look at things, see what we have to do different blah blah blah...." But he seemed pretty set that Schaub was the starter. JR will have the quotes for everyone sure I'm soon...
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Signed through 2016, it would cost the <a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=%23Texans&src=hash">#Texans</a> $21.25M to release QB Matt Schaub right now. And that should be the final straw. If McNair doesn't fire Kubiak tomorrow, it's obvious that Texans' fans have a bigger problem that just head coach and QB. We also have a ####ty owner.
that's a lot to offer, consider say that SF got 2 (seem to be middle round) draft picks for Alex Smith and he was by far the best QB on offer last year, would have fit the Texans too.
Same ol' bull****, haha. MAKE IT STOP! <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>"I believe in him as a person, I believe in him as a player," Kubiak on Schaub. <a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=%23Texans&src=hash">#Texans</a></p>— Tania Ganguli (@taniaganguli) <a href="https://twitter.com/taniaganguli/statuses/387058788219375617">October 7, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> Stubborn ass coach. Get out of town. Take Matty boy with you and Rick Smith too.
Epically bad meltdown. This team is headed nowhere, and its sad. Andre Johnson's body language on the field made it look like he had given up on Schaub. I just don't know how many times you can trot this guy out there, swearing that nothing is in his head, and he's good to go, and has his teammates' support, only to have him throw a pick six, or produce a few other costly turnovers. In no sense of the word, whatsoever has Schaub been a playmaker the last six plus quarters. Not to mention Gary Kubiak. Where did his balls go from the first week? Where did his offensive mind go? I missed just about the whole fourth quarter, but I think I saw one designed boot the whole game. Uh, what happened to boots, one of our signature plays, one that Schaub absolutely excells at? Our runnig game was working, yet we ran no play action. They were weak in the linebacking corps, yet we ran no boot plays to tight ends crossing over the middle. Shouldn't we had been doing this to pick u Schaub's confidence? I mean, what the hell? Kubiak should be shown the door tomorrow, in my opinion. He's dropped the ball for at least three straight weeks now, and his committal to both his players and coaches is beyond pathetic, and it is to the point to where it needs to cost him his job. He can't make adjustments, won't pull players, won't fire coaches, won't veer from his scripts, I mean, what good is he right now? He should be shown the door before he leaves the airport tonight. This team has too much talent for it not to be known that people will be held accountable.
If I'm Kubiak (which I'm glad as hell I'm not) I give the ball to Keenum to: a) see what he can do b) save my job c) prove once and for all that Schaub is DONE Any or all of things could happen. What have you got to lose?
Kubiak is an idiot, that has been established already plus he loves Schaub. He will never do this, in a million years.
