Since I believe you mentioned how you used to play ball in college or something. So I want to ask you. Does a coach favoring a specific player and spite winning rub off on other people?

Here's my opinion based on my own experience in school and business world. Doing what you're saying would make the hardworking guys(Scola, Lee, Dragic, Lowry, etc.) think the management don't reward hard play, don't reward defense, don't reward production. Instead they feel that there's entitlement for players drafted high and wishing to tank instead of trying to win each game. That actual NBA games become scrimmages where success and failure do not matter.

In the above environment, I would have a hard time believing our players would develop properly. But that's just me, and I've never played basketball beyond messing around with friends.
