Dude, don't get levi's, unless you plan to do work around the house, and even then, I'd recommend wranglers... Go to Macy, get a pair of DKNY or Calvin Klein jeans...They've been having some good sales and I've gotten some for $12-$30...Better yet, go to Banana Republic $50 and get some jeans there...Bootcut...Also, if $$ is an issue, go to Old Navy...
I have a friend who buys his jeans at Wal-Mart. I laughed but then I realized he was serious. He said "I'm married and I've got kids [and he's getting laid]. Who am I trying to impress? I just need a pair of jeans."
I buy my jeans at Old Navy. Hell, I've even bought a pair at Steve and Berry's for $7.99. I wear two different pairs of jeans and the current ones have lasted me a year for a grand total of about $35. I've never understood paying an assload of cash for blue jeans.
No straight dude should be wearing Brokeback Wranglers. Several reasons: They don't fade The cut The quality of the material The quality of the tayloring
I find this statement funny because so many people share your opinion on A&F clothing to the point that they won't even step foot in the store to browse (yes, I sensed your sarcasm). You see, I rarely go shopping for clothes, and even more rarely go shopping for high end clothing. My regular spots are Target, Old Navy, JC Penney, and Wal Mart. However, when it comes to jeans I have purchased exactly 2 pair of expensive jeans in my life. One is from A&F and the other is BKE brand from Buckle. You know what? Those are the only two pairs of jeans that I even wear currently, because they feel so much better and fit so much better than anything else I've got. I wear belts and don't tuck my shirt in, so it's not like I'm sporting them to advertise the brand. They're not even the kind with paint spots or rips in them. They just feel damn good, especially the A&F. Now polo shirts...those are a different story.
I've bought some t-shirts from there. The sizes tend to run small though. I like their t-shirts mostly. Not the ones which are a walking billboard for their name brand, but some which have some obscure design on them. Basically some retro looking t-shirts. They are always running some sort of pretty good sale from month to month if you look on their website.
I wear a size 30 also, but I also need a belt too so my pants don't fall off, or pretend that I am a homey! I buy most of my clothes from that POS store called Macys.
LEVI's are the most uncomfortable jeans ever. DKNY, Calvin Klein, and Arizona (yes, Arizona) are some of the most comfortable (at a reasonalbe price).
