Wow - and to think there has to be more to come (with so many expendable trade commodities).

Novak to D-league, Snyder traded, Head is the only question mark.

Would he rather get playing time somewhere else or be content to ride the pine getting minutes here and there. Trade him with Snyder for another PF?

Head was playing out of position and Alston was out there way too much. I think both could still be important pieces to the team if they stick around, esp. Head; think he still has a big upside.

Still talent is talent and I think SF3 has it and it can never be a bad thing to have too much of it on a squad

At the first home game, when they announce the Rockets lineup, whether or not Francis is in there, they should start a "MOREY! MOREY! MOREY!" chant. That would be awesome. :D :D :D

I don't think Francis would have chose us if he thought he was going to get moved again by February...

there might be something in his contract that might prevent that...

    we'll just have to see

    Fantastic news.

    Welcome back Steve.

Props to the insiders who predicted it correctly.

We are so stacked with talent already.

Something tells me we are STILL not done.

Morey for GM of the year.

i guess i am one of the few who thinks this is a horrible and totally unnecessary pick-up. we already have mike james - they are redundant. alston is a better playmaker/decision maker and only a slightly worse shooter. luther is a better 3 point shooter.

rick adleman's teams are built around TEAM basketball (passing, movement). steve will single-handedly kill that.

if his name wasnst "steve francis" how excited would yall be about getting someone who has put up the #'s he has over the last couple seasons?

we need a power forward - hopefully steve-o is just being signed in order to be packaged away in a trade for a big man.

    very disappointing signing.

    Mike James trade.
    Bonzi Wells agrees to return.
    Aaron Brooks drafted.
Split the MLE on Luis Scola and Steve Francis.

FIVE new weapons in a little over a months time? I thought this only happened on NBA 2K!?

And we still have trade assets in Head/Sura/Alston etc.

    It's A-Morey!

The Abacus is working overtime. I hope we have good chemistry. Lots of players that want to shoot with steve, mike james, T-mac, bonzi.....only time will tell.

Somebody post that pick of Skip with that t-shirts reading "i will be here next year' or something like that.

Like Brooks, you need to be patient. Believe me with the kind of talent that Brooks has, that dude can soak in the veteran experience and take it to a different level.
