An article from NBA.com about Bostjan Nachbar: http://www.nba.com/nets/news/OffSeason_Roll_Call_Bostjan_Nachbar.html
boki has played his best when he has played at the 4 for new jersey and with a great pg like kidd. hes an average to below average nba player
Its true. But the guys here seem to have the biggest man crush on Nachbar. God knows why... He is an athletic, balanced, fiery player. A legitimate 7th or 8th man. Someone any coach would probably love to have. But not much more.
Mods, can you put a leash on Brooksball? Thanks. I'm seeing 20 posts per page with more than half being drivel from him, often with 6-7 posts in a row, multiple threads...argh
An athletic, balanced fiery player than any coach would love to have on their second unit sounds pretty darn good. Nobody claimed he was superstar. I was stating my opinion that he is, was and always will be better than Steve Novak. Novak does not have, and likely will never have, the overall value and ability of Nachbar. That was the point. No man crushes here... that was a pretty homophobic exaggeration.
Another exaggeration. Never once have I posted 20 times on one page and only on a couple of occasions have I posted several posts in a row. One time, I made corrections to 2 posts resulting in a grouping of 6 or 7 posts. Nice exaggeration though. I will be glad to leave if the administrators deem it necessary. Until then, hate all you want my man, but get used to seeing my name around here.
Not to mention that I never once used inappropriate language or made any vulgur statements. I have seen plenty of that around here which is something that should actually be addressed.
Futhermore, as my 6th consecutive post, can you show me where there is a rule setting a limit on consecutive posts? The only limitation I have seen is a system/administrator-invoked restriction that prevents you from posting more than once every 30 seconds. If I feel the need to post 10 times in a row, I see nothing stopping me. This is a forum with existing rules, including the aforementioned one. If you argue that I was moving away from the thread topic, on occasion, I can't disagree with you, but you must realize that many, many others do that on a regular basis. Later, brother.
My lord. How did we ever get along without BrooksBall, our self-anointed savior, who graciously blessed us with his presence by joining as soon as this month! There is no other more important or more knowledgeable than BrooksBall! All hail BrooksBall, Savior of Clutchfans!
Interestingly, I said absolutely nothing to the effect of self-appointing myself to any such role or that I was blessing you with my presence. It is almost as if you were responding to some other comment or, alternatively, the thoughts and assumptions roaming around in your own intimidated head. Regardless, my dear fellow Rockets fan, I am more than willing to act as a savior, if that is agreed upon by consensus. Somehow, I don't think that will be the case. Hah, later, brother. Go Rockets, bebe.
First, very happy with the SF pick up. Lots of good things will become of this. Secondly, and to address the above quote, I, for one, appreciate BrooksBall writing/posting style and his perception. In the past 10 years here, there were a heck of a lot more disturbing contributors than BrooksBall, and some are still here. Of course, and as always, this is just MHO. RR
