When you said that I stopped reading your post because no one in thier right mind would say something like that after watching Tracy McGrady be the one and only playmaker for this team last year.
These people whining about trading Alston remind me of those few that complained about David Carr, but got upset once he was replaced. I think alot of Houston sports fans just like being disgruntled...
lol carr shoulda been replaced by Young but LOL@TexansManagement anywho back on track.. Alston is expendable as many have said Adelman's system doesnt require Pure PG's only Guards that can SHOOT.. which Rafer cannot..
er.. who the heck was that.. everybody I know that complained about Carr was overjoyed when he got replaced
But there were alot of callers on the radio shows who still found a reason to complain (i.e "Two 2nd round picks?!?!?!?"). But, I was just making a comparison. Seemed that everyone was anxious to see Rafer gone. There was a new thread about it seemingly every couple of hours last season. Now we have people pining to keep him. Perhaps it was a bad comparison. Just the first thing that came to mind. My Apologies
I love Francis on our team. I think we sort of all felt Francis would come back at some point....just never imagined he would still be able to contribute when he did. This is really great. A tmac francis backcourt is one of the best in the league...Battier Scola Yao for a solid front court...James and Wells give us a strong 1-2 punch off the bench...this is really an exciting time for Clutchfans, -V
The Rockets will be able to play every style of ball in the NBA. They can go half court with Spurs or run up and down the court with the Suns.
Like the move. Lots of talent on the team. One question...are we going to score 120pts? We are going to give up about 110.
What is Rockets.com ? I know there use to be a official Rockets website but I haven't been there since 2002
The intro to their show, they kept going on about how this was a "HUGE" gamble for the team and how boneheaded it was. Kept streesing the word "HUGE." So, I messaged and just said "How can you call this a "HUGE" risk for a guy that is getting a one year deal for $2.4 million. Can you elaborate?" Lopez just said "oh, you monsters just dont get it sometimes." then went on about chemistry and things SF3 did when he was about 22. I dont mind being criticized, if I deserve it. But I simply asked them to elaborate. He made me sound like a freakin' 6 year old who had never watched NBA before. Whatever, not like I take Lopez's take seriously anyways...
I wish you had the actual IM text of the conversation, but everybody has their bad days. Not that I care much about Lopez, but I have to hope that he will apologize to the public when Stevie helps to lead us to the Finals
Im not going to lose any sleep over it. Never really cared for their show anyways. Palillo is the only one with half a brain on 790am.
