I hope Morey tried to talk to Denver for Camby first see if we can pry him away for couple PG's/expiring contracts. if that doesnt work than i dont mind getting foster to play as a backup to scola/yao.

Haslem would be a great fit for the Rockets but he's also a great fit and a starter for Miami.

    You're obviously way into Francis..

cause he could never run a break. He consistently mangled 2-on-1's and 3-on-2's throughout his time here. What player can't run the break? SF3. Unless you don't understand that we mean "run" as in "lead"...not "gallop alongside someone"...cause he can certainly be effective filling the lanes.

Completely disagree on the dribbling, too. It wasn't just "very early in his career". It was throughout. He got better under JVG, but if he wanted to break someone down and go to the rim or make any kind of offensive move, it had to involve the incessant dribbling..

Couple of points here. I've been wanting Francis to come and so many people said it was a stupid move, ball hog, high turnovers, etc. At $2.4 mil its a no brainer, hell I wanted him for the MLE, but this is even better. I can't wait to see what Francis has to say in the press conference.

For all the people wanting Cuttino - why? This team has way too many SG's, we don't need another one. I'm not really worried about the starting lineup but each position (except pf) is so deep right now, its sick.

    PG - Francis, James, Brooks
SG - T-Mac, Bonzi, Francis, James
    SF - T-Mac, Battier, Bonzi
    PF - Scola, Hayes, Butler
    C - Yao, Deke, Butler

That's 11 players, with the excess pg's, Head, JL3, and Alston if Morey could swing another solid PF we would be set. Novak and Landry could go to the D-league. Head is still solid but really unneeded at this point.

Adelman is going to turn this team into a well oiled machine.

    C) Ming/Mutombo
    PF) Hayes/Scola
    SF) Battier/Wells
    SG) McGrady/Mobley
    PG) Francis/James

weak at the four, but having the best center in the league leaves you some wiggle room upfront

LOCK AND LOAD. WIN IT FOR ROBERT FINGER!!!

Will the conference be Televised Nationaly on ESPNEWS?

BTW, I'm feeling nostalgic today after seeing Clutchfans.net's front page. ;)

I like Steve Francis. I always have. But I'm not blind to his weaknesses.

I am thinking Steve would be good coming off the bench. Rafer is the beest distributer we have on the team. He should start with T-Mac and Yao, and distribute the ball.

Then when one or both of those guys comes off the floor Steve can come in, and we still have a viable scoring option. Plus he will pump the other guys on the floor as well.

Cat, Noooooooooooooo. We do not need him here. Terrible contracts!!!!!! I do not think morey will pull a trade like that. It is definately not money-ball.
Trade rafter, luther & other scrubs for a big body. I like the idea of adding foster. But Chuck & Luther for foster? Morey, you can do better than that. At least get back a 1st round pick.

    I don't want Mobley:

    1) His has a huge contract ($9 Mil as someone mentioned?)
    2) I don't see him as a better option than Bonzi or James (James might play the 2 a little)

Why not project a 50-man roster while you are at it?

Did Cuttino break up with Francis?

Well, if anything I hope he will redeem himself this upcoming season!

I'm all for the Rockets to advance past 1st round!
