This team is so loaded it's beyond words. And I think Rick Adelman is the perfect coach for this team. If the chemistry develops, and we have a lot of veterans that should help with that, and with this team's depth and size they aregoing to be a BEAST. And with the addition of Franchise we can weather injuries much better.
I can see van gundy doing wonders with this team. But what the hell, who doesnt wanna see Tmac, Stevie, Bonzi run the fast break offense under adelman.
I just hope Steve understands that this isn't his team anymore. I think Shane has more of a claim than Steve.
Right he did visit Shanghai in 2004 Just after he left Rox He must have a mixed feeling then... I think soon he will visit China again Shoot some commercials for local-made sneakers and maybe even open a blog, again in Sina... God he is much more popular than M James in China!
I believe that T-mac wasn't joking around, I think he and Steve talked, and they both know, whomever's hot takes the shots.
Isn't Stevie playing down at Fonde'? If he is , hows he lookin? My favorite brand of basketball is rebound and run, this could be fun. (or it could be tragic... Steve is going to have to come off the bench, slash, rebound, run the break and be our PG stopper on D. That's a lot to ask of an older player. And Bonzi may never be more than a big ol tub o' lard again. You'd have to be pretty driven to put in the requisite work at age 30 with a pocket full of $90 million)
That's actually genius. (Not being sarcastic.) Yi would want to come here for obvious reasons. Bucks get some value. Could this happen?
this team still needs an athletic PF. scola is solid but hes not a very good athlete and hes not a great rebounder even though he does have good intensity.
After seen all this moves ... It could happen but for the kind of money he's making.... I don't think is a good Idea
I have concerns about how the team chemistry will be like. I can easy see someone will end up pouting because of playing time. James, Bonzi are never known as team players in the first place and now they both have to fight with Steve. Plus, wouldn't Yao and Steve feel kinda awkward? Steve used to be the "Franchise", now he is a 6th, 7th man (I don't see him being the starting PG for sure).
Unreal. I've been setting up a new laptop today (my kids turned my old one into an expensive coaster), and between that and a bunch of other stuff, it took me this long to read this entire thread. WOW!!!
I agree. On one hand we have new players in Francis, James and Wells (basically) who can break down defenders off the dribble and get to the basket. But out of those guys only James can shoot the long ball with consistency and they all have to dominate the ball to be effective. There's no doubt we have championship depth but which players are going to play the best off of Yao and McGrady, aside from Battier? This team is pretty different from the Adelman coached Kings of 5 years ago, but in the end it still comes down to McGrady and Yao.
