OK...this is where we try not to freak out with the excitement of this awesome addition.

We have much more business to take care of...like the issue of 5 PGs on our hands.

If Morey can figure out how to trim our roster down and get soemthing out of the fat in return...it would be great...future picks rights to players oversees...something. I don't want to give up players just for the sake of trimming the roster...we have to get something.

Head for example has value. He is young...and already a proven 3pt shooter. He still has a little time to develop a mid-range game. Teams see value in that. You want him? We do you have to give me?

Even JLIII has value. He does have skills...and he can shoot. He didn't do it so well with the team last year, but that may have has a lot to do with the fact that he was always afraid of losing his job. But I think he some value.

Snyder is still an athletic freak that may interest some teams.

Rafer ofcourse is still a decent true PG...has tremendous value...he has to be worth a pick or soemthing. His contract is a little strong though, so that may make it more difficult.

    We shall see!

Leave it to the Wiz! He'll get us something.

    BROOKS IS THE REAL DEAL.

He's not a poor man's version of anybody IMO.

Aaron led the Pac 10 in scoring, took his team to the elite eight, and dominated the Summer League.

Aaron is going to star in this league for many years.

If I was going to compare him to anybody...I'd say Brooks has a little bit of Tiny Archibald in him.

Im glad we have him back, just called my friend and told him off too:p
but stop and think for a minute:S

we're gonna have pg issues... and having THIS much talent would DEFINITELY PUT PRESSURE ON RICK ADELMAN! I mean returning as a head coach for a players you've never coached, besides bonzi. Thinking to take it one step at a time...and boom he has a whole staircase to jump. Man i hope we can work this gift/curse out:)

    GO ROCKETS:)

I feel like we just passed on Rashard, traded away Horry and Cassell, and signed Scottie Pippen and and Moochie Norris to long term deals all at once.

I hope that jackass can learn to play TEAM ball. Seems VERY unlikely though.

    610 -

Saying the Francis is not a 1 or 2 more of a lead guard. Just coming off the bench to be a scoring power.

Saying defending wise he was always better against big guards rather than faster guards that can take him off the dribble.

Easy tiger. I wouldn't compare him to one of the NBA greats of all time just yet.

brooks may be good but a star??

dominating the summer league is nothing to brag about? see JL3

and the pac-10 was a good league, but there were not great individual players there, only great teams.

    Woo hoo Steve-O!

I am also in the camp of not trading Alston, like another poster said he gives as a change of pace pg that compliments MJ and SF.

Awesome. Wow. I love and have missed Stevie. The fact that he's been resting the past two seasons makes this even sweeter. Best offseason in years.

    Incredible. I'm giddy.

I too would like to see Alston back. Personally, I'd dump Novak, Reed, JLIII, and maybe Head/Snyder. The lineup will be:
    James/Alston/Brooks
    T-Mac/Francis/Head
    Battier/Bonzi/Snyder
    Scola/Hayes/Landry
    Yao/Deke/Butler

I'm just wondering what other "long-shots" Morey is thinking of getting with Novak, Reed, JLIII and Sura's contract. I'm not sure he can do much better than what he's done so far, but I'm hoping he can.
