James Harrison learned what happens when you're on the receiving end of being hit helmet to helmet... --------------------- Okay, I guess that was pretty tasteless. Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin ruled James Harrison out for Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans because the outside linebacker will undergo a surgical procedure Wednesday for a broken orbital bone around his right eye. The loss of James Harrison is a major setback for Pittsburgh's inconsistent pass rush, writes ESPN.com AFC North blogger Jamison Hensley. Blog Harrison will be out indefinitely and there is no timetable for his return. Tomlin said Lawrence Timmons will take over at Harrison's spot at right outside linebacker. Larry Foote will start at inside linebacker for Timmons. Tomlin said quarterback Ben Roethlisberger didn't suffer a broken bone in his left foot and he anticipates Roethlisberger should be able to play Sunday. Roethlisberger sprained his left foot in the fourth quarter of a 17-10 loss to Houston. An MRI exam on Monday revealed no significant damage but Tomlin said his quarterback could be limited in practice early in the week. Defensive end Aaron Smith has a mid-foot sprain and might miss the game.
Saw NFL access and their segment on the Texans. They showed harrison saying "They do a lot of talking for a team that hasn't been to the playoffs." Thought that was interesting.
Jacoby Jones looks like a potential chronic **** trash talker.... Maybe Kareem was talkin trash from the sideline area...
If you get a chance check out NFL Turning Point on Versus for a segment on Steelers/Texans. They use NFL Films footage and describe the turning point of the game. It's the same thing as Sound FX on NFL Network, but an expanded version. It was on last night and it will be repeated tonight a couple of times as well as Saturday afternoon. Check your guide for specific times. The Texans segment begins about 33 minutes into the show.
