    Decisions to make this week:

If Pierre Thomas isn't starting this week, do I start Michael Bush (ran poorly last week; McFadden is probably back) or Fred Jackson (against the Ravens; Bills offense sucks)? Not a good choice, really.

At WR, Deion Branch (Brady loves him some Branch) or Mike Thomas (Garrard loves him some Thomas)?

My opinions (but I want yours, too!):

    - Jackson if McFadden is back, Bush if he isn't.
    - Branch because NE might actually score.

Only the top 3 defenses are must starts every week. Lower than that I'm a firm believer in choosing defenses based on matchups. Though I did start the Jets defense every week in my facebook league(Jets are 8th best defense) and the Titans defense(#1) every week in my Yahoo league. I keep expecting the Jets defense to score better.

And the lack of bench spots in my facebook league generally lend to only owning one defense at any time.

I'd agree with all of that.

Doesn't look too good for him right now.

After the Indianapolis Star reported earlier Wednesday that Colts TE Dallas Clark suffered a left hand/wrist injury in a Week 6 win over Washington, and after head coach Jim Caldwell said that Clark was "being evaluated," ESPN reports that Clark is out indefinitely and seeking second and third opinions on his injury to determine how long he'll be out. The team recently re-signed TE Gijon Robinson, prompting speculation that Clark's wrist injury is indeed serious. Now speculation is that Clark could possibly miss the rest of the season.

Hearing that Austin Collie may be done for the season. Seeking 2nd and 3rd opinions.

Pierre Garcon's value just went through the roof...

I have to find a trade partner. Too many good WRs on my roster.

I just picked up Garcon and dropped the Jets D.

I couldn't chance him getting grabbed over the weekend.

    I need help.

    Who should I start?

    Jamaal Charles vs. Jaguars

    or

    Ryan Mathews vs. Patriots

I like Charles but he's in a timeshare with Jones. I like Mathews and I think he could have his breakout game especially now that he's almost completely healthy but he hasn't done much this far. What do you guys think?

Clark is the one that is likely done for the season. Collie had hand surgery today and will probably be out a couple of weeks. Either way it all helps Garcon's value.

Also Anthony Gonzales is probably back healthy after his week 1 injury in the Texans game and will be available for the Texans game so he might be a good pickup as well.

Sweet, Clark can go sit on the sidelines for my team with Ryan Grant and maybe Kevin Kolb once Vick comes back.

Yes, my draft was excellent! :(

Thoughts on a TE replacement? I grabbed Benjamin Watson this week since the Colts are on a bye anyway.

(I hope Kolb does so well this week that Vick gets benched, though... at least he's producing now)

Depends on who you have available in your league at the moment. If you want to give us a rundown on which players are left.

It's pretty slim pickings. Aside from Benjamin Watson, there is:

    Brandon Pettigrew
    Todd Heap
    Tony Scheffler
    Bo Scaife
    Jermaine Gresham
    Anthony Fasano
    Visanthe Shiancoe

Shiancoe is really the only other one besides Watson that I would want to consider unless someone here knows differently. Favre hasn't been throwing to him lately, but he started the season quite well.

Watson is perhaps the best option you have, but Todd Heap is also a decent option especially for this week's matchup.

I am so screwed this week if Eddie Royal doesn't get cleared to play versus Oakland.

My only droppables to replace him are:

    Mike Tolbert (handcuffed to Mathews)
    Thomas Jones
    Fred Jackson
    Knowshon Moreno
    Pierre Garcon (bye)

Who the hell do I drop? Garcon is a must start for me next week, with DJax injured and Roddy White on a bye, I'd almost certainly lose him if I dropped him.

Of course, I could just drop Royal himself and pick up one of these guys: (I need to consider their week 8 matchup/availability though)

Louis Murphy vs DEN (bonus points for great matchup next week vs SEA)
Kenny Britt vs PHI (negative points for bad matchup vs SD)
Devin Hester vs WAS (on a bye next week)
Demerius Thomas vs OAK (vs SF next week, def not good)
Johnny Knox vs WAS (on a bye next week)
Mike Thomas vs KC (negative points or bad matchup vs. DAL)

Thoughts? (return yards count 25 per point in my league)
