WR Vincent Jackson is expected to report to the Chargers by Oct. 31, according to a report by ESPN's Chris Mortensen. Jackson, who remains a holdout and unhappy the Chargers have not traded him, must report by the 31st in order to accrue the season he needs to become an unrestricted free agent.

    My guess is no.

Anyone here going with either Donald Lee or Andrew Quarless? Donald Lee came back to practice today. I'll be happy if these guys can even produce 60-70% of Jermichael's numbers (PPR).

^^^ he's right. Your matchups suck this week.

I think you have to start Schaub, especially if Andre Johnson doesn't have any setbacks this week.

You should start thinking about dumping Barber. Dallas likes to throw a lot and Felix is their guy now, so Barber has been effectively marginalized. Jamaal Charles matchup sucks less than Hillis', but the Texans don't give up a lot of rushing yardage and he's still sharing carries with Thomas Jones. Hillis is also dealing with an injury...Charles has more upside here so I'd be more comfortable rolling with him.

I'd go with either Lloyd or Murphy for the flex spot. Lloyd has a bad matchup here but Knowshon still isn't healthy so Orton's gonna have to throw all day long again, and Lloyd has been one of the best receivers in the league so far this season and nothing indicates his role in the offense should change here. He could be good for at least one long TD.

I was one of the victims of Finley's injury and immediately placed a waiver claim on Tony Moeaki. I don't know how it's going to be with the Packers on Sunday but my feeling is that the principal beneficiaries of Finley's absence will be Driver, James Jones and to some extent Greg Jennings (I only include his name because I heard a report that the coaches admitted that he needs to be utilized more). Remember, Finley was basically their #1 WR before he went down. A backup TE is not going to replace his production.

Believe me, I would drop Barber if possible, but my league is just too deep. 12 teams and a 25 round draft. There is literally nothing but 3rd string RBs available besides Donald Brown who I just dropped. Luckily I got Hillis and Charles through a trade because I only had Foster, Barber, and Brandon Jacobs to start the season.

That's a simple one, Bush and Torain.

Agree 100%, but I'm in a pretty competitive league with 7 bench spots, so pretty much everyone out there is taken.

The backups are only an option as the league mentioned here is PPR. Lee and Quarless have little to no value in standard leagues.

Bowe against our porous secondary, or Moss against Indy?

So this trade is pending between two other teams in my PPR league. Is it fair or not? What do you guys think?

    Ryan Matthews
    Brandon Jackson
    Heath Miller
    Steve Smith (CAR)

    for

    Adrian Peterson
    Donald Driver

IMO the guy receiving AP/DD is making out like a bandit. Would you veto?

Almost any trade where someone is receiving quantity instead of quality is a bad trade.

I would veto. AD and Driver might be the 2 best players in that trade.

You can't veto a trade simply because it's bad.

Obviously the Peterson owner is not very good at Fantasy.

You can't punish the guy who is pwning him for that.

Trade veto is in place to prevent people from basically abusing the system by trading a kicker for Chris Johnson.

I will veto ANY trade that is CLEARLY lopsided, just like this one.

I tend to agree that some fantasy owners abuse the veto power by vetoing almost any trade, I think in this case it appears to be that one owner is just quitting on his season. A bad trade would be if he was trading AD for a mediocre QB, WR help, and another RB, but trading a quality WR and AD for another WR and two RBs doesn't sound fair at all.

I would at the very least question their motives. I'm inclined to think the guy trading away AP and DD is just an idiot and I wouldn't want to veto a trade just because someone's being stupid -- them's the breaks. But if there's sufficient reason to think someone is tanking or not playing fair here I'd veto it in a heartbeat.

    I proposed:

    Larry Fitz
    Thomas Jones

    for

    MJD
    Sidney Rice

and the guy declined. Then he countered with:

    MJD
    Rice
    Lance Moore

    for

    Farry Fitz
    Brandon Jax

Should I go thru with the trade? I finally have some RB depth and with this would be losing one of my hard to find RBs. I have AP and Ryan Torain :( as my top 2 backs as of right now.

I know MJD has been a big downer this year but so has Fitz due to his lack of QB. I already have Welker, Lloyd, Louis Murphy, and Brandon Tate at WR. I'm desperate for a #2 back to start next to AP....

    Thoughts?

So when Vincent Jackson actually reports, he'll have to sit out 3 games then?

I doubt Vincent Jackson sees the field.

He's reporting, but only so he can legally become a free agent next year.
