Both are turds here, but I'd be a little more comfortable with Kolb. Perhaps one extra week will give Randy Moss some more time to get comfortable with the Vikings offense but I loathe having to start Favre against that Dallas pass rush.

Ouch. I don't like any of these, at all. All bad situations, bad matchups. You should be scouring the waiver wire for better options. DeSean Jackson's value has dropped considerably with Kolb at the helm; Aaron Rodgers is likely out this week which renders the 1-dimensional Jennings rather useless against a good Miami D; and Eddie Royal is still competing with a busload of Denver receivers for scarce receptions against a dominant Jets D. No thanks.

    Gonzalez.

What is this, a 14-team league? Your team needs help.

What are the chances that Rodgers plays next week given how serious the NFL takes concussions? The guy with Rodgers in my league has no back up QB and I offered Sanchez for Mike Williams. He rejected it because he thinks Rodgers will play. The free agent pool offers him Vince Young and Alex Smith. Me and another player are plotting to pick those two up so he would have to make a deal. What are the chances he plays?

I think the chances that he recovers well enough to play Sunday are pretty low, but they're probably not going to make any definitive announcement until Thursday/Friday at the least.

I'm leaning towards Favre. (Favre is already on my team, Kolb is on waivers)

Opposing QBs against Atlanta are averaging a low 70s QB rating.

Against Dallas, QBs are in the low 90s in QB rating.

Both teams are averaging a little over 2 sacks a game.

I'm thinking Jennings value might actually go up here. Why? Because Rodgers spreads the ball around a lot, whereas the backup QB may be more apt to focus on his #1 guy. I'm definitely not liking Jackson or Royal, but they're both at home and both teams throw it a bunch... problem is, the Jets and the Falcons are both running teams that control the clock, and that will limit pass attempts for both teams :(

My waiver options include: Kenny Britt, Dwanye Bowe, Mike Sims-Walker, Danny Amendola, and Pierre Garcon. Dwayne Bowe seems like the obvious choice, since the Texans suck against the pass. But I have no one I want to drop... if I had to drop someone, I would have to chose between Eddie Royal, Fred Jackson, and Thomas Jones.

I hear Philly is weak against the TE, but I can't find any stats to back that up. Anybody know where you can find those position specific stats, i.e. how many points opposing defenses give up to TEs?

And no, it's a 10 team league. And my team is fine. My other starting WRs are Dallas Clark and Malcom Floyd. My bench is chock full of RBs at the moment, mostly handcuffs.

This is a great week to pick up some WRs off waivers. Mike Thomas, Amendola, Britt, James Jones to name a few.

I took two TD catches on Monday night, but not starting Forte bit me in the end...

Now it looks like Megatron is injured, plus Fitz is on a bye and I'm again receiverless(well almost)

Do you guys believe Crabtree has turned the corner and worthy of a pickup? His two best game have come after the coordinator change.

If you have an extra bench spot on your team, I would certainly stash and hold on to Crabtree.

Wait a couple more days and see how Rodgers progresses. That should make your decision much easier.

It looks like Haley is beginning to realize that Jammal Charles is the better back out of him and Thomas Jones. So I would drop him over either of the other two.

I have a dilemma for myself. I have Mark Clayton and Mike Tolbert both on my sqaud. One is already out and I'm replacing with Louis Murphy the other is slowly getting reduced back to his back up role. I originally dropped Brandon Jackson but am thinking about picking him back up to replace Tolbert.

I know this past week may have been a sort of fluke game because he had that one 71 yard scamper but he is the number one back there (sorta). I just need RB depth, should I pull the plug on Tolbert and make the move for B Jax?

I am in desperate need of a good WR and I have the number 1 waiver priority right now... should I pick up Amendola of the Rams or Branch of the Pats???

our league puts everyone on waivers from sunday to wednesday so i been hanging on to this #1 priority

Which do you think will have a bigger impact from here on out??

That's a good enough rationale, I think. And perhaps Favre will finally start to reap the benefits of getting Randy Moss if his elbow doesn't affect him too much.

The problem with Jennings is that he has only one facet to his game: vertical. He can't run underneath, he can't run intermediate routes. All he's good for are long bombs. That's viable as long as Rodgers is under center, but if you're rolling with Matt Ryan who has only thrown 17 pro passes ever, you're going to be checking down and tossing a lot more often to guys like Driver, Lee and Jones when you're not running the ball. If Rodgers is out, I'm automatically benching Jennings without giving it a second thought. Also, I would drop Eddie Royal for Dwayne Bowe or Pierre Garcon. And I never trust Jag or Titan receivers.

Most fantasy pay-sites will give you information like that.

Ah, that's better then. I should also admit that it's not that the players you listed there are that bad by themselves, it's just that they almost all seem to be in precarious/bad situations.

I'd trust Branch a bit more since he at least has some history with Tom Brady, but I don't know how much of a role he will have in the offense competing with Brandon Tate and we probably won't have a clue until they play on Sunday. The Rams passing game obviously fell apart last weekend with the injury to Clayton. Amendola is the guy there but I don't know if/how well they will be able to pick up the pieces with the rookie QB. Do you have any other options on WW?

Worst TE defense (of the teams playing in week 6):

    1. Houston, 12.6
    2. Oakland
    3. New Orleans
    4. Miami
    5. San Diego
    6. Philly, 8.9
    7. NE

Philly is not a bad choice. They give up about 8.9 points per week to TE. Non-PPR.

    Why Royal?

He's like my 2nd leading WR in points.

Also forgot to mention, my league counts return yards/tds, and he's a PR/KR.

Royal is the #3 receiver on his own team, thats why. That being said, I'm nnot sure I would drop him for garcon, Collie is getting most of his touches now

Ahh, I didn't know you count return yards. In that case he might actually have some value over guys like Garcon.

I want to dump Thomas Jones for Bowe SO badly.

But betting against the Texans makes me kinda ill.

Also, I have given up on Jones 3 straight years, only to have him put together yet ANOTHER 1,000 yard season...

Well, Jones is highly unlikely to give you anything this week at least. For all their woes, the Texans continue to be pretty good defensively against the run and haven't allowed a 70 yard rusher this season. Bradshaw came closest at 67 yards and he has been demolishing defenses this season. I think I told someone before Sunday to bench Bradshaw and I was right (I had him on my other team and benched him too).

I thought Royal was considered their #1 receiver and then Lloyd, at least that's how the Broncos had it on their online depth chart.

Of course now we see Lloyd is the top target for Orton in Denver.

I'd keep Royal the way Orton has been chunking the ball around the field. Drop someone else.
