Very lucky this week since I got a combined 12 points from Peyton Manning, Arian Foster, Thomas Jones, and Greg Jennings. Luckily, I also had Hakeem Nicks and Brandon Lloyd. I have a 41 point lead and he only has Shinacoe going tonight. I'll be moving into first place...
Is MJD expendable? The reason I am asking is because I am considering trading him. I'd like to package TO with him for 3 players in return.
If I manage to pull off the win this week, all credit will be given to Shaun Hill, which I will reward him by cutting him on Wednesday.
I'd think you can sucker in someone because of his name recognition...just be prepared to cringe those weeks he get 30 points...but you'll find inner peace the other weeks he doesn't even break 10
Yeah, I'd like to package him and TO and get 3 players in return, perhaps 2 WRs and 1 RB or 2 RBs and 1 WR.
WHO should I pick up for wk 8, both of my qbs are on byes ryan Fitzpatrick(buff) vs kansas city J.Freeman(tampa) vs Arizona A.Smith(SAN FRAn) vs Denver M.Hasselback(seattle) vs Oakland Any advice would be great, rep for explanations or details Thanks
Im looking to trade him too. I need help at RB. I have Witten and Keller for TE so I can trade one, and while Keller is having a great year so far, I don't know how much the return of Moss affects his production. Being an Eagles fan, do you think its Kolb thats holding back Desean? I have DJax and last two weeks have been rough on my team.
As of right now I'd go with Freeman. He hasn't been spectacular, but he has been consistent. He should do well enough for a bye week replacement. Smith- he's a actually a close second, but I'm not comfortable predicting he'll still be a starter by week 8. If SF keeps losing they might just go with a QB change. Hasselback- I think he is done as a QB, but I'll reserve fantasy judgement until after seeing how the team's running game reacts to Lynch Fitzpatrick- No running game + facing a team that held Manning w/o a TD=only if he's your last option.
First explain why you have 2 qb's on your roster with the same bye week... I picked up Freeman as my backup for week 7 when I don't have Peyton. He had a nice day at Cincy (280/1/1/20 yds rushing). Actually outscored Peyton this week. I like him because he can add in some rushing yds. Out of your choices, I'd go with Freeman.
It's hard to get anything significant in return especially a running back for a tight end. If I were you I would go with trading Witten because of name recognition. I know you meant Santonio "wus up" Holmes not Moss but he shouldn't hit Keller's stock too hard. He seems to be Mark "dirty" Sanchez's fav target in the red zone, he'll come in handy.
I would go with Alex Smith, followed by Freeman, either are probably fine. I think Freeman is a safer bet, but Smith has potential for more points. I would not even consider the other two
Yeah, I meant Holmes. I was thinking of Santana Moss who's on my team as well. As for the TE trade, I was thinking of packaging him with MJD. I also have Bowe who I can package as well, but I don't think anyone really wants him. Disappointing year to say the least.
I'm down by one point because I started Schaub over Rivers. I still have a chance though!! Randy Moss or Percy Harvin???? Moss had 0 points for me last week and if this happens again, I have no idea what to say.....
I believe that you will see a correlation whenever Kolb is starting that Jackson's numbers will almost always drop. Kolb doesn't have the mobility, pocket presence, and arm that either Vick or McNabb does. Those things helped the Eagles because defensive backs couldn't play deep because you would always have to be wary of the quarterback's ability to take off for a big gain so it opened it up for Jackson that much more. Kolb also targets Jackson less than Vick. Vick threw it to Jackson 7 and 8 times during each of his full starts, last night Kolb threw it Jackson's way just 3 times.
I have to say that there are few things funner in fantasy than picking a new defense each week off the wire. If you do it right you'll get more points out of your defense on average than any other defense out there. I used Detroit this week and they got me 26 points. We always have plenty of teams in our league that carry 2 defenses the entire year on their roster for some reason.
That becomes difficult if several people do it, though. You really have to depend on getting your target defense first and you're sacrificing your waiver claim on a defense instead of, say, a RB/WR that is taking over #1 duties due to injury.
I don't use my waiver claim on a defense. I wait until the waiver period is over and then grab the best available. So far I've been the only one doing it that way. Even if everyone did the same, the chances are that out of the 20 defenses available in a 12-team league, one of them is going to finish in the top 8 or so each week.
landed number 2 pick in my roto bball league, 12 teams, 10 cat (pts, or, dr, ass, stls, blocks, TOs, FG%, FT%, 3PTM), who should i take Paul or LBJ??? or someone else, i am assuming Durant is off the board
I've got a crap-ton of questions this week: Team A: Pick one Favre vs. Dallas Kolb vs. Atlanta Pick two DeSean Jackson vs. Atlanta Greg Jennings vs. Miami Eddie Royal vs. Jets Team B: Pick one Tony Gonzalez @ Philly Greg Jennings vs. Miami Eddie Royal vs. Jets
