Elton Brand for JJ Hickson and Terrence Williams? Taj Gibson is a free agent. Would you take the slight upgrade in Brand?
We all missed this...did you just say the Texans are part of KC's "ridiculously soft schedule"? The #2 rushing defense in the NFL and that's w/o Brian Cushing? How dare you!
There's a guy in our league who needs RB's desperately, and has made Andre Johnson available. My receivers are Giants Steve Smith, Welker, Hester, and Meachem, so I could definitely use Andre. (Heck, who couldn't.) I have 4 RB's on my roster: Mendenhall, Tomlinson, Pierre Thomas, and just picked up Torain for my bench. I initially offered Pierre straight up, but I am expecting him to reject and counter. Should I make all 4 available? Or should I make any (Mendenhall...) off limits? My QB is Peyton and I have Jets D, so my team is pretty well off as is, but Andre obviously is a very tempting offer.
And by desperately, I mean DESPERATELY. I have no idea how he managed to get so messed up, but the only 2 RBs on his whole roster are Beanie Wells and McFadden. Ouch.
I would think about selling high on LT. The Jets face a lot of tough run defenses and I'm not to sure LT will see quite this much of a workload all season. You might be able to put together a package for Dre since Dre has been hurt.
I give up: Arian Foster, Jason Witten, Cedric Benson, and Hakeem Nicks I receive: Frank Gore, Deangelo Williams, Brent Celek, Greg Jennings. I'm tempted, and I think im going to do it.
Foster > Williams Witten > Celek Benson < Gore Jennings = Nicks I dunno. I probably wouldn't do it at this point given how disappointing Williams and Celek have been.
No. The Cavs will have no choice but let their young players develop. That's great for owners of Hickson. Also, Williams might be the best distributor and best stat stuffer on the Nets.
Who's your current QB? I would expect LT to taper off later in the season since he's kinda old, thus Shonn Greene's value will rise. He's sort of at a sell-low/buy-high point right now, so I'd be careful in dealing him.
my qb was Vick i picked up kolb off of waivers for now but figure to start vick again regularly once healthy my other RBs are: jonathan stewart beanie wells benjarvus green-ellis
Yikes, pretty thin in the RB department. Did you have Ryan Grant like I did? I wouldn't give up Greene for McNabb since you're thin on RB and Vick will be back soon making McNabb obsolete.
If McNabb is an upgrade over your current starting QB, do it and don't look back. Otherwise what's the point of giving up Greene for a player you're never going to use?
nope stupid stupid autodraft couldnt be there the day of so shonn greene was my first overall pick then it picked up slaton, and reggie bush but he got hurt basically my entire lineup was utter crap the only good thing the autodraft did is draft me the pittsburgh defense my qbs it drafted was vince young and brett farve yeah i was thinking the same i probably wont play mcnabb at all once vick is back and whenever philly has their bye week
Tough choice ... I grabbed Brandon Tate off the waiver wire this week, but now I'm thinking about replacing him with Pierre Garcon now that he's healthy and fully practicing (and Collie has an injury). Neither player is going to start for me this week, but I'm torn about which player holds more value for the rest of the season. (Other WRs on roster are M. Austin, Welker, Floyd and H. Ward).
^ picked up Garcon as well right now after seeing this in a 12 team league so can use the help there my other WR are Calvin Johnson and Ochocinco, CJ has been productive but Ochocinco hasnt after an amazing week 1. may put Garcon in as my flex
