I'd tell him to shove it. I have Jennings/Gore in my league. Jennings only catches red zone TDs; his yards so far this season are lacking. Gore isn't scoring TDs due to the 49ers offensive problems. Foster/Nicks have yards and TDs going for them. Don't do it!
So I picked up Marshawn Lynch off the scrap heap today once I heard the Seahawks traded for him. I hope he pays dividends later in the year.
Should I start preparing for fantasy life without Cutler, or will he bounce back(and play) next week? These are my options at QB: Mark Sanchez-maybe he finally has turned the corner David Garrard-he probably due for a couple bad games before his next good one Shaun Hill/Matt Stafford-Hill is putting up points, so I assume Stafford will be even better when he returns and Hasselbeck, Freeman, Gradkowski, Fitzpatrick,Clausen, Kolb.... or should I disregard my real life convictions in a fantasy football setting and pickup Roethlisberg(I realize he has a bye this week) Thoughts?
I've been offered Malcom Floyd and Mark Clayton for Jamaal Charles. I'm on the fence. JC has a ridiculously soft schedule (Colts, Texans, Jags, Bills, Raiders) coming up, but Floyd and Clayton have been solid so far. Would you do it?
A guy offered me Dallas Clark and Derrick Mason for Sam Bradford and Dez Bryant.. My current tight end is Owen Daniels.. Should I do it?
really? You have to think about this? Is it a PPR league? If so, you do this and then laugh in this guys face. Even if it's not, you still do it. OD might not be 100% the rest of the season. He's getting better, but Schaub clearly has no problem throwing to Dreesen. As teams have to find ways to shut down Boldin, Mason will get more and more. I'm assuming Bradford is your backup. You're essentially getting a top 20 player (Clark) for a backup QB and a rookie WR.
Agreed, Big Ben should no longer a free agent in any leagues, regardless of who your starting QB is. He can easily be used as a trade chip.
Which 1 of these 3 RBs should I bench this week? DeAngelo Williams (vs Chi) Mike Tolbert (@ Oak) Cedric Benson (vs TB) My instinct is to play the 2 guys who are at home, but Williams and Benson have done nothing so far this year. Also, Dustin Keller or Tony Gonzalez at TE?
I've got a tough flex option to make: Mike Tolbert vs Oak Mark Clayton vs Det Thomas Jones vs Ind I have Torain and AP slotted as my starters and Fitzgerald and Lloyd at receiver since Welker is on a bye. Help?
I would go Thomas Jones. He'll probably get 15-20 carries against that run defense, as long as KC isn't getting blown out.
I'd say Benson. He's likely to get more carries than the other two as he splits less reps. Keller needs to be started until he just has a bad game.
I'd go with Clayton. He is Bradford's favorite target. Charles will probably get more touches than Jones this week. Tolbert isn't a bad bet either. You can't go wrong with Tolbert or Clayton.
You'd think so, but the KC coach hasn't really realized that Charles is a lot better than Jones is. Younger, faster and more explosive. I have Charles on one team and am really hoping the coach sees the light soon.
I'm debating who to start this week: Kolb or Bradford. I really acquired Bradford because Kolb was benched, but now that he's back and they both are playing pretty poor pass defenses, I'm not sure who to play. I'm thinking Kolb, but he didn't show much last Sunday against Washington (in fact, despite his stat line, he looked terrible and was lucky he didn't throw 3 INT's). Thoughts?
