I hope you started Lloyd, cause I sure didn't. In my defense I had Fitz, Welker and Mark Clayton going against a suspect D in Seattle. I don't know but the guy I played started the Chargers D AND Zack Miller and they both just desroyed me.
Well at least he got you 2 point, Murphy got me nothing...and then Cutler did his best to sabotage me further by getting a whopping -3 points. I still managed to get the W though.
seriously i am down 2 points going into tonights game i have Green-ellis he has welker i need ellis to have a monster game if reed had hit either one of those missed fgs would have at least had some breathing room.
Down 26 points going into today to keep my unbeaten streak alive. I have Tom Brady Going which I am confident in. I thought i was golden going into the Philly vs Wash game since I had Jackson and Moss and neither one could do a thing. 2 points between them cost me a huge chance. Now I need Brady to step up and put some TD's up....I am hoping for a barn burner so they have to keep throwing.
Nope dumbass Murphy was started. Figured Oakland would be down paired with our weak secondary he should get some garbage yards, but didn't do crap.
My instincts were right about the Texans secondary starting to correct itself this week. Zach Miller still went off, but I think that should be fixed when Cushing comes in. I'm down 26 points going into tonight and depending on Welker and Green-Ellis to rescue me from fantasy purgatory. Argh -- damn you, Jeff Reed.
The Texans secondary just had to jam the WRs, the aren't that good to begin with... and as long as they were jammed at the line, the Raiders piss-poor offensive line couldn't keep the Texans pass rush at bay at all.
True -- the Raiders WRs aren't exactly world beaters and Miller is basically the best weapon they've got, but I was wary of everyone assuming that the Texans secondary would continue to be the worst in the league going forward, especially knowing this team's history of making successful midseason adjustments (see last year and everyone proclaiming that the Texans run D was "historically bad" after 3 games and experts telling people to start Samkon flippin' Gado against the Texans if they could).
I think it had more to do with Murphy and Bey having block hands. Oakland's WRs dropped A LOT of passes yesterday
Pat Chung almost saved my team tonight with that pick 6, but Yeremiah Bell gave my opponent just enough to win
For my flex spot this week, who should I play? Brandon Lloyd Marion Barber Peyton Hillis and I need to drop someone to add a defender, who should I drop? Donald Brown Jacoby Jones Jabar Gaffney
I know it looks like a vaunting matchup against Baltimore but play Lloyd, they give up a lot of yards without Ed Reed thru the air. Now on the drop I say Gaffney, he blew up for that one game and that was pretty much it. Thomas, Lloyd, and Royal should get the brunt of the catches. Plus if AJ is out and J. Jones doesn't have that serious of a calf injury he should get more looks. Just keep your eye on the injury status of each guy, I wanna say D. Brown was out this past week with an injury too.
won the week by less than a point thanks to the 25 garbage yards he put up at the end to kill the clock. not sure why he didnt get more carries, woodhead had a good game but green-ellis was playing well enough those touches...either way glad i was able to squeak by with the W
This guy is offering me, GREG JENNINGS + FRANK GORE I am going to give up Arian Foster + Hakeem Nicks. Tough one on me! What would you do?
Its a tough one, but I say stand pat. Gore always misses games to injury, and so far Foster has been a star.
