^Sounds like you are in a similar position I'm in with my league, half the owners aren't active and it's almost impossible to get trades done. I think Harrison is way low balling you, but if he's the only trade partner available he might have you cornered.
rhino...I think you are giving up alot for basically jamaal charles. he is explosive, but he and jones are splitting carries. with OD underperforming Walter is going to get alot of looks (Exhibit A - Last Weekend) RBs are alot easier to find on the waiver wire than quality WRs. Especially once the injury bug starts going around. hence my next question: how soon should I sell on Jahvid Best? I have him in two of my leagues and I am wondering what the ceiling is for him. Mostly for a comparable RB.
I had an earlier trade vetoed, I have now been offered Brees and T.O. for Deangelo Williams and Hakeem Nicks. I already have Cutler at QB, my RB's are Williams, Brandon Jackson, Forte and MJD. My WR's are Steve Smith (Car) Brandon Marshall and Nicks....should I accept and then flip one of the QB's?
That's a great deal, I'd go for it if I were you. I'm assuming you don't have an "Optional Player" spot available in your lineup so I'd say flip Cutler while his value is pretty high. He won't be as awful as last year but Brees >>>> Cutler. Just sayin.
I see you added Teej. I say yes, are there any better choices? I mean Evans blows and has Fitzpatrick as QB now and TJ is apparently behind Mason and Boldin. No K. Walter, Louis Murphy, or even Demaryius Thomas (I really like this kid)? V-Jax is practically worthless to keep on the roster now.
I was offered the following deal: GIVE: M. Colston/M. Crabtree GET: W. Welker/D. Keller My roster (and I am 0-2) QB: T. Romo RB: P. Thomas, M. Jones-Drew, C. Williams, R. Jennings, S. Slaton, K. Williams, J. Snelling WR: M. Colston, T. Owens, M. Crabtree, V. Jackson TE: H. Miller, J. Gresham K: J. Feely DEF: Jets
I have about 7 good receivers, this is a very deep league, 12 team with 25 players. There are literally no running back on the waiver wire, that is the only reason I am doing this trade. Donald Driver is the only guy included even seeing time on my team and that is as a 3rd receiver. In return, I am getting a starter in Jamaal Charles, and Peyton Hillis who is better than my other RBs. My team after the trade will be QB: Matt Schaub WR: Andre Johnson WR: Anquan Boldin RB: Arian Foster RB: Jamaal Charles TE: Visanthe Shiancoe W/R: K: Neil Rackers DEF: New Orleans Bench: Donovan McNabb Mario Manningham Jacoby Jones Jabar Gaffney Louis Murphy Marion Barber Peyton Hillis Donald Brown Brandon Jacobs 2 more roster spots will be available Defense: Demeco Ryans DJ Williams Brian Urlacher Brian Dawkins
Celek is doing bad fantasy-wise at TE. Both Keller from NYJ and Lewis from JAX are available. I'm not sure how long Lewis will be producing as he was a blocking TE primarily last year. Keller seems to be Sanchez's favorite target. He's got the similar yards to Lewis, but Lewis has more TD's so far. It looks like Keller will start getting his also. Keller or Lewis at TE?
Do that trade. Welker is more consistent than Colston, and Keller is getting a lot of passes thrown his way
Offered: S.Moss / R. Brown Give: M.Forte Thoughts? I also have Javid Best / Arian Foster / Micheal Turner Forte's production has been strong so far. (PPR league)
Wow. How do you know the majority of your league isn't active? When Tolbert is still available as a FA.
Definitely Keller. He will be Sanchez's main target, especially with Braylon's status as up in the air as it is.
Hernandez? He seems elusive, but it seems like he's going to have to break away to the endzone to find it. It just doesn't seem like he'll be targeted in the red zone in the Patriots' offense. Just curious, why do you rank Keller over Hernandez?
