Out of those RBs, other than Barber I like Brown. He had a good game against the Giants, and unlike Snelling, the back ahead of him doesn't get all the carries as is...unless of course Turner isn't 100% then it's an easy choice.
They're all available as free agents since the waiver period is over, actually. Here's the list (ordered by points thus far): Mark Sanchez David Garrard Alex Smith Sam Bradford Shaun Hill Derek Anderson Jason Campbell Seneca Wallace Trent Edwards Matt Cassell Matt Moore Dennis Dixon Jake Delhomme Bruce Gradkowski ... etc. It looks like someone grabbed Josh Freeman before I had the chance. I do still have Matt Hasselbeck (he'd be #1 in the list above) and Kevin Kolb on my team. As you can tell, it's a pretty terrible list and I'm in a pretty terrible position. Perhaps I should make a trade, but my assets are lacking as well since I've had to absorb Ryan Grant's demise, too. It's looking mostly like a lost season at this point. Fortunately, my other team is wrecking fools.
That's what I'm wondering, should I just go ahead and drop the dude. If he gets traded he still won't play till half our fantasy season is up and he's taking up a valuable roster spot for me. Also, what do you guys think of this trade: Larry Fitzgerald for Marques Colston Jonathan Stewart I'm getting Fitz.
I don't know. He could be useful in a playoff push. If the Chargers were offered a 2nd round pick and still didn't trade him I assume they have some plans for him.
Stick with Hasselbeck. Freeman has played well through 2 games, but they were against bad teams and this week he faces the best defense in the NFL.
Horrible trade for you imo. I expect similar production for both receivers this season, but you are throwing in a serviceable running back.
I am discussing a deal of Michael Vick for Ladanian Tomlinson.....thoughts? Keep in mind I am extremely thin at running back. Texans run defense is #2 in the NFL, Dallas is going to be throwing all day. It's gonna be a shootout, so I say Romo. However Vick will also put up big numbers on a bad Jacksonville defense. You'd be fine with either.
Hasselbeck will be keyed on by every defence they face until they get a viable running game. He had one fabulous game against the Niners and a so so game against the Broncos. He had 1 passing TD 2 INTs and 1 rushing TD, he won't be getting too many TDs by the ground as he has been. I say go Freeman but don't start him this week against the Steelers.
Do you trust the Cardinals QB situation? I have Fitz and I would jump at that trade. Hope that helps.
This would be my squad with Fitz: Matt Ryan Adrian Peterson Brandon Jackson Larry Fitzgerald Wes Welker Demaryius Thomas Greg Olsen Mark Clayton Jets D Longwell Bench Portis Sanchez 49ers D John Carlson Mike Tolbert So I’m thinking it wouldn’t be too bad losing Stewart who hasn’t done squat. Plus the guy already has De’Angelo Williams on his team, dumb trade on his part IMO. Fitz will get his regardless of who is throwing his way and Brees distributes the ball too well to depend on Colston.
I disagree, Fitz is gonna have a pretty tough year. Andre Johnson didn't get his when David Carr was throwing him the ball, Randy Moss didn't get his with whoever the random QBs were throwing him the ball on Oakland. Colston will have the better year imo.
Can't really go wrong with either, but Romo definitely has the most upside. Romo will have to pass, especially if the Cowboys are down early.
