Who are some week 3 pick ups on the more than likely free agent list? I'm 0-2 and first on the waiver wire this week.
Here are the top scorers from this past week that are available via free agency that are available in my league:
Turner appears ready to go for Week 3, anybody else? I have until tomorrow night and I am first on the waiver wire so I'll get whoever I want in the pool.
QB: Romo RB: Jones-Drew, P. Thomas, C. Williams, S. Slaton, K. Smith, R. Jennings WR: Colston, Owens, Crabtree, V. Jackson, R. Williams TE: H. Miller, Gresham K: Feely DEF: Jets I'm guessing Tolbert, Snelling and Lynch could replace Smith
I would drop Slaton and Smith and pick Kevin Walter and...I'm not sure who else. lol. Being that I own Crabtree and Jackson in my league I know they haven't been producing(Jackson for obvious reasons). Walter will have occasional dud games, but get a lot of looks because of the attention AJ gets. I like all three RB you mentioned, but who you pick up depends on your train of thought. I'm thinking of picking up Lynch myself in hopes that he gets traded to GB. With Tolbert and Snelling you also have risk and would have to hope the starters get injured again.
^Also take a look at D.Thomas of Denver. He'll probably have an up and down season, but he's talented and could have a few more huge games. I see him as Denver's best option to replace Marshall's productivity.
For my 2nd running back spot, who should I play? -Marion Barber @ Houston -Donald Brown @ Denver -Brandon Jacobs vs. Tenn -Jason Snelling @ New Orleans (I know, what a craptastic bunch of running backs) And for my W/R spot? -any of the guys above -Donald Driver -Mario Manningham -Jabar Gaffney -Jacoby Jones -Kevin Walter
i'm in a ppr league with the following positions: wr, rb, rb, wr/te option, and wr/rb option my wr are: moss, malcolm floyd, and mike williams (tampa) my rbs are: gore, mccoy, addai, jamal charles, and tim hightower Ive been offered donald driver for addai...should i do it?
absolutely. Driver has helped me win many fantasy leagues, he is as consistent as they come. He won't put up huge numbers, but will also rarely put up nothing. Expect solid production from him throughout the year. You are definitely weak at WR and have 5 talented running backs, no real use in keeping them all. Addai imo is not one of your top 3 guys, so I would do it.
My current waiver order is this: 1. Drop Kevin Smith; Add Jason Snelling 2. Drop Roy Williams; Add Keiland Williams 3. Drop Roy Williams; Add Lee Evans Suggestions?
OK, my fantasy team is f**ked with Ryan Grant out for the season and Vick taking over for Kolb. I had the "poor" luck of scoring a ton in week 1 (thanks, Arian Foster and Miles Austin) so I wasn't able to nab Michael Vick on waivers. So now I'm stuck with Kolb who just lost his starter position. I used Matt Hasselbeck last week which turned out OK, but I have a question: which QB should I turn to? - Matt Hasselbeck - Josh Freeman - Sam Bradford - Other? Remember, only QB's that would be available on waivers would be applicable here. Personally, I'm leaning towards Freeman.
Out of those, Freeman seems to be doing the best so far, but it's hard to say long term. I just picked him up as my backup. Bradford has potential, but he's going to throw a lot of picks. Hasselbeck is in danger of losing his starting job.
All the guys I listed are backups anyway except for Barber who has sucked ass this season and is playing the 2nd best run defense in the NFL this week. I'd be happy with 5 pts from any of em honestly.
who should I start as my 3rd WR? Crabtree vs KC Dez Bryant vs HOU or should drop one/both for: Johnny Knox Percy Harvin Louis Murphy Kevin Walter Legedu Naanee Lee Evans
