I prefer Moss in this match-up because I think KC will have success against the Browns running the ball so Bowe production will be affected. On the other hand the Texans gave up a lot of yards through the air last week and I see that as a recurring theme throughout the season.
Owen Daniels just became available through waivers. Do you guys think he will get back to a high level of play this season and would be worth sacrificing Zach Miller(Oak) for him. A 100% healthy Daniels would be an easy choice but I'm debating whether he is much better than Miller at the current moment. Miller does have the advantage that Jason Campbell doesn't have a No 1 receiver and uses his TEs as an escape valve. Also, I think Oakland will be behind in many games giving Miller more opportunities. Thoughts
Hi all, I was proposed a trade for Vincent Jackson for Fred Taylor. I am fairly stacked at WR I have Moss, Wayne, Maclin, Mike Thomas. My RB are pretty weak I have Jhavid Best, Jonathan Stewart, and Brandon Jacobs. I picked up Vincent Jackson on the waiver wire because with my WR I can hold on to him until he is able to play. Should I trade him for Taylor? Thanks.
Zach miller should be your starting TE, he might snag 2 tds this week. OD is good as well, but sit him on your bench until he back into playing shape. Pick OD up and sit on him for a couple of weeks.
Should I do this trade (I'm the one with Romo, Turner, etc.)? Andre Johnson, Owen Daniels, Ricky Williams, Mario Manningham, and Devin Hester For Tony Romo, Michael Turner, Cedric Benson, Vincent Jackson, and Dwayne Bowe. I still have Donovan as a backup QB.
Yeah, I was trying to get Andre and the guy was like "this is the only trade I will do if you want Andre". If I did the trade, my team would be: McNabb Brandon Jacobs Ricky Williams Andre Johnson Mario Manningham Roy Williams Tony Gonzales Rob Bironas Steelers DST Darren McFadden Willis McGahee Owen Daniels Devin Hester This is what happens when you miss your draft.
I have Ryan Grant, and someone else snatched up his backup as soon as the Pack game ended. In retaliation, I quickly snatched up Mike Vick. I now have three QBs on my roster. I have Homo, McNabb, and Vick, who the hell should I start? I'm leaning on Vick.
Whether you start Vick or not make sure you drop him by week 3. You're wasting your time carrying him.
Nah, I think the Eagles are going to keep Vick as their starter, resign him in the offseason, and trade Kolb. Seriously, that offense would be pretty damn nice if Vick can continue his good play. You have weapons like DeSean Jackson, Jeremy Maclin, Brent Celek, and LeSean McCoy on that offense. That's pretty good, in my opinion.
Andy Reid has already said that Kolb will keep his starting job. I think it will take a minimum half the season of struggling for them to pull the plug and insert Vick full-time. Aside from fantasy, I just don't think Vick is accurate enough ... those receivers aren't exactly "go up and get the ball" kind of guys, but rather catch and make a play guys, so they need a QB to put it right on them.
Even if Vick did start for the year people forget, he just isn't much of a fantasy QB. Especially now that he isn't as mobile.
42 points in my league last week for Vick. He is a more than capable backup quarterback. He is much more of a fantasy QB than real life QB. I currently have Schaub, McNabb, and Vick
A. Foster vs Redskins M. Forte vs Cowboys R. Rice vs Bengals J. Charles vs Browns A. Bradshaw vs. Colts D. McFadden vs Rams I only have two RB spots. Who should I start?
Vick will have a monster game, might be his only start for the season so he is going to make it count. As soon as I find out he was going to start, I snag him up and place him to start over Bret Favre!!
