I have Matt Schaub and Michael Vick, so I'm not too worried about my depth. The other guy has Kevin Kolb and Matt Stafford at QB, so I'm sure he would like an upgrade considering both those guys are hurt and/or not very good.
I don't get why everyone is jumping on the Vick bandwagon and writing off Kolb (from a fantasy perspective) after one half against a VERY good defense. As of now Vick is only a short-term option, and when defenses have a chance to gameplan for him he won't be quite as effective as last week. Mcnabb for Thomas would be a steal for you, but you should probably be on the lookout for another backup QB.
Ya, the only people that should be considering Vick are the ones took a QB outside of the 12-14 best QBs.
Kolb has looked bad since taking over, period. He looked absolutely lost out there with no pocket presence whatsoever. He looked the same way in the preseason where he failed to lead the Eagles into the end zone once. He still has 6 games against the division (very good defenses and pass rushers in that group), 1 against Minnesota which is another good defense, Houston, Chicago and Indianapolis both have great pass rushers. That's 10 of his remaining 13 games where he either has to face good defenses, good pass rushers or *GASP* both! I don't expect him to have a huge fantasy upside throughout the season.
Interesting. Read this tidbit on Twitter (http://twitter.com/jraanan/statuses/24683061176): This guy is a CSN Philly reporter.
I get a page does not exist return. What did they say? I mean yeah, the Eagles are going to have to stick with him because they have invested and given away so much for him. I talked a lot about this situation in this thread: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=192853
Reflects my sentiments about the situation. It would be totally unreasonable for the Eagles to anoint Kolb their QB of the future and then suddenly yank it away from him because of two bad quarters and a concussion. Vick is not their future, he never was and never will be. All he's doing right now is auditioning for a possible starting job elsewhere next season.
Well, I never implied Vick was going to be the starter. All I said is that Kolb won't put up great fantasy points this season.
Ray Rice @CIN Joseph Addai Home NYG Brandon Jacobs @IND Ryan Matthews Home JAC ---------------------------------- Arian Foster @WAS Jamaal Charles @CLE Ahmad Bradshaw @IND Out of all this RB's and you can choose 4 to start; choose 2 from each section GO!
I have 5 RB's and have to start 3. Ronnie Brown at Min Joseph Addai vs NYG Cedric Benson vs Bal Clinton Portis vs Hou Fred Jackson at GB I'm thinking Ronnie Brown, Joseph Addai, and Cedric Benson but I think that my Texans homerism is making me think that Clinton Portis is going to do **** when he may do well.
start ronnie, joesph, and cedric anyways i was proposed this trade i don't know if should do it M.Forte for (they're giving me) b.marshall and J.stewart. im thinking hell naw
