Calvin Johnson = Megatron. He earned the nickname when he appeared to transform his body for catches like this. <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/wXRqyjzyBRg?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/wXRqyjzyBRg?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

First time playing with waivers. Previously you could add/drop any time so I'm not used to it. What is the general philosophy on when to make a claim? Just try to grab the best player out there every week, or wait until you're desperate so you don't waste your priority? I'm looking at Brandon Jackson, Mark Clayton, and Mike Thomas and wondering whether or not I should make a claim (I'm nbr 3 of 12 right now). Drops are not an issue for me, I could add all 3 no problem. It's ppr so Clayton might be looking pretty good. I guess my question is more about the right strategy though, not the individual players in question. I could see adding Jackson if you were in a must-win situation next week, but I'd really like to win every week, if possible. Also I don't really know how fast the waiver priorities usually turn over to know whether or not this is even an issue.
OK, so my fantasy team has Kevin Kolb and Ryan Grant. What's "worse" is that I won this week and scored the second-most points so I'm second-to-last in waivers. I don't really know who to target since Brandon Jackson and Michael Vick will probably be taken earlier in the waiver period (of course I will try to snag both of 'em, but it likely won't happen). In other words, I've got two gaping holes in my line-up. Sure, I have Derek Anderson and Reggie Bush to sub in, but can y'all think of anyone else I should target in waivers? (claims process tomorrow morning)
Brandon Jackson, McFadden, Legedu Naanee (Chargers), Vick, Mark Clayton, Fred Taylor (NE starting RB).
I can start 3 of the following, which one should I sit this week... Hakeem Nicks vs Indy Desean Jackson vs Detroit Dwayne Bowe vs Cleveland Brandon Jackson (Just picked him up) vs Bills The rest of my squad (Position Players)... Manning Foster Matthews Shiancoe Thanks
I want to offer ronnieB and legedu naanee for forte in a ppr (1 ppr) league. What do you guys think? I think forte has the potential to approach faulkish numbers under martz...atleast on the receiving end.
