You think so? Ellington is a legit RB-1 and Denard can start at WR for me, and I don't really think Gates can keep up his level of production. That being said, Brady has been a monster lately, no doubt.
I feel your pain. I picked Doug Martin over Murray. Lol... At least in my league, I wasnt the only one who passed on Murray -- he fell to the middle of the second round (12 team league). I could have had Forte, Murray, and Leveon Bell
You're essentially giving up a stud QB and a "relative" stud TE for a slight upgrade at RB. You'd then be going to bat with Michael Vick and Owen Daniels....its actually kind of funny when you think about it.
That's true. I guess I'm still just in that mind set that RB's and WR's are more valuable then QB's and TE's. Thanks for the advice, repped.
Who's the better pick up? CJ Anderson or Montee Ball I have Hillman but I'm not sure who to drop him for. My other RBs are LeVeon Bell, Shane Vereen, and Tre Mason. We have a roster cap set at 4 for every skill position. So I can't pick up both. Thanks in advance.
There's been rumblings that people think CJ Anderson is the best back on the team (someone says this about every Denver rb who gets a carry), but Montee Ball was the starter, and he allegedly lost some weight and "feels quicker", I think long term Montee Ball may be the way to go, but since they are planning on going with the "hot hand" approach, It's tough to feel comfortable with any one of them to be honest. But in my silly little mind, I think in the short term it's Anderson, Ball, Hillman (for health mainly), and then long term I think it's Ball, Hillman/Anderson. That's if I had to take a guess.
In our league defenses are rewarded a little more for sacks (2) and INT's (3), with that in mind, which defense should I go with this week?: Buffalo @ Miami (Divisional Game on a Thursday) Denver @ St.Louis (Against Shuan Hill but on the road) Detroit @ Arizona (Against Drew Stanton, former team, but on the road) Yes, I have 3 defenses, like I said, we score the defenses a tad bit more than the default, so they're worth more in our league. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have Hillman and I picked up Anderson to back him up. I don't trust Ball especially coming off an injury and Anderson's game last week. Denver running backs are annoying. I have one: 8 team league. Standard scoring. Who do I start? Deandre Hopkins vs. Cleveland Alfred Morris vs. Tampa Bay Ryan Matthews vs. Oakland I have Hopkins in now but I am worried with Mallett starting.
For me that's easy. I go with Morris. Not to say he definitely outscores the other 2, but he's got the most "stable" of situations. With Mallet in the mix, who knows what the offense will look like, and they've decided that they're going to "ease" Ryan Matthews back into the mix in San Diego as well. But Morris is going against one of the worst defenses, it's not a divisional game, it's at home, I think he's the safe bet.
Must start 2 - L. Miller, M. Ball, B. Oliver, C. Simms, C. Hyde. Right now I'm leaning Ball and Oliver due to opportunity and opponent, respectively. Miller's been good to me most of the year, but I don't like him on a short week while battling an injury. Simms is intriguing. Hyde, I'm not really even considering. I know if I start him, he'll have 12 yards, if I don't, he'll score a TD.
If you are looking at this week only, I would probably go with Denver. However, Detroit has been a really solid defense and does have matchups with Chicago, Tampa, and Minnesota during the playoffs and are one of the best options.
Yeah, I have Detroit and Buffalo strictly for playoff purposes right now. But in regards to this week I was leaning Denver as well. The only problem is statistically they do great, but fantasy wise, they do just average (IMO), so that's why I was so skeptical.
Yeah, I think that's the safest bet. As Lamar Miller is going against a top Divisional defense, short week, down 2 starters AND is nursing an injury...(as I type this I hope and pray he doesn't go off)....lol
So you hope the Chargers jump out early and then Oliver gets mop-up duty? He's been largely worthless for the past month in non-ppr.
Thanks guys. I feel like I'm back at square one but that's not you all's fault. I would definitely go with Alf. He's about as good as it gets when it comes to 2nd tier RBs plus that's a beat up defense he's playing against.
