Made the right choice, Brady beasted today and I also have Moss. On track to win my fantasy championship!
In my 3rd place matchup, it was close, it was decided tonight. I had Adrian Peterson, he had Sidney Rice, so I won
My team: QB: Tony Romo, Mark Sanchez RB: Maurice Jones-Drew, Pierre Thomas, Cadillac Williams, Kevin Smith, Steve Slaton WR: Marques Colston, Michael Crabtree, Terrell Owens, Roy Williams, Vincent Jackson TE: Heath Miller, Brandon Pettigrew K: Jay Feely DEF: New York Jets For Week 1 I currently have the following lined up as starters: QB: Romo RB: Jones-Drew, Thomas WR: Colston, Owens, Crabtree TE: Miller DEF: Jets K: Feely I am reluctant to start both Pierre Thomas and Marques Colston against a good Vikings defense because something tells me that one will have a mediocre game. My gut tells me to go with Thomas. He had a good game against the Vikings in the playoffs while Colston was a non-factor. Also, Thomas was a more consistent player throughout the season last year as well. I really like Williams in that Week 1 matchup vs the Browns too. What would you do?
Colston no doubt. He has more value and he's catching balls from Drew Bree's as the number one receiver.
Here's my team for my league at work. 10 team league, performance scoring with 6 points for all TD's. Not an amazing team but I think I'll be competitive. We drafted last week and I had the 8th pick. Spoiler
Points for yards and td's Who's a better WR option: Ochocinco, Terrell Owens, or Malcom Floyd. I can only choose one. Which RB to start?: Arian Foster or DeAngelo Williams. I know it should be obvious, but Foster is looking legit
Week 1 Santana Moss faces a tough Dallas defense (9th overall/20th against the pass last year) and he has a new coach, system, quarterback, etc. Michael Crabtree faces a pretty weak Seattle defense (24th/30th against the pass overall last year) that has a new coach and system in place. I would say Crabtree.
WR: I would go with Floyd. No Vincent Jackson makes him a prime target and he is facing the Chiefs. RB: I'd actually go with Foster. The Colts aren't known for their run defense and I expect him to split carries less than Williams will with Stewart.
Colston isn't a true number one receiver, at least not on the Saints. They spread the ball around way too much for him to be considered such. I'd much rather put in Cadillac Williams against the Cleveland Browns on Week 1 but I am just not sure yet.
I know Williams had CPOY honors but I couldn't be able to trust him after 3 seasons of injuries. I'd still go with a receiver that is catching balls from Drew Brees.
I have Ochocinco as WR2 and Sims-Walker on the bench. I've got to drop one to pick up Floyd. Should I drop Sims Walker for Floyd? My WR1 is Miles Austin
How is Maurice Jones-Drew looking? I have heard a lot about his knee but can't find anything that says it is something serious.
Hmm. I could probably drop my back up QB, Matt Ryan. But I'd have a bunch of receivers. I'm also thinking about picking up Owen Daniels at TE, too. Right now, I have Brent Celek. I think he's going to have his best year with Kolb at QB
I was offered Thomas Jones and Dexter McCluster for Michael Crabtree. Should I laugh in this guy's face or ponder this trade?
