No way in my book. Ivory is about to become the workhorse in NY; he is outperforming CJ in every way. And Benjamin is oozing with potential as the only real playmaker in Carolina's offense. I think those two have a better chance of putting you over the top than Rodgers, especially since Kaep is performing decently.

Thanks. Yeah, it would make me really weak at RB

    Apply the Morey principle.

The team that gets the best player in the trade wins the trade.

Ergo, this is an absolute no brainer yes.

The only way I would hesitate is if your roster requires two RBs to start.

With 2 flex spots though, that doesn't seem to be the case.

Since it's PPR, WRs should be the flex play of choice anyway.

It is a shame you passed up the initial offer, though.

That was damn near highway robbery.

Donny, he never sent me an official request. I don't think he would have really gone for it because he changed it to Ivory pretty quick

    We do start 2 RB

    It's

    1QB
    2RB
    2WR
    1TE
    2FLEX

So my RB's would be a joke.. (although I have the best receiving core in our PPR league)

This trade makes me think about 'wins above replacement' though

How many more points will Rodgers get over Kaepernick compared to how many more points will my new RB2 and Benjamin's replacement get?

I would have to start someone like Bobby Rainey at RB2 and Vincent Jackson would take FLEX 2 over Kelvin Benjamin

Is that worth replacing Kaep with Rodgers?

    It's tempting

I'd rather have Rodgers leading my team and do patch-work stuff at RB on a weekly basis. Also not a Kaep lover, either.

    Different strokes though.

IMO Chris Ivory won't out produce your hypothetical RB platoon/rotation by nearly the rate that Rodgers will produce over Kaepernick.

You have enough talent at WR you should be able to fetch at least a middling RB2 in a trade, FWIW.

Do the trade. You can keep looking for a running back on the waiver wire and eventually you should strike gold.

bridgewater vs ATL or brady @ chiefs this week?

i'm pretty desperate for a QB. I have Brady, Dalton and just picked up Bridgewater hoping for one to break out. Would trading Ball for Rivers be a decent trade? I already have Leveon Bell and Forte as my rbs.

edit: i offered Ball for Rivers and Edelman

Considering doing this trade that was proposed to me:

    Ben Roethlisberger for Jordan Reed

Need a QB cuz Brady hasn't been Brady, non PPR, plus I have Kelce as my backup and Reed is hurt.

I have Russell Wilson in a bye week.

Should I pick up Tannehill against the Raiders
    Or
    Eli Manning against the Redskins?

i was just offered Emmanuel Sanders and Eddy Lacy for Dez Bryant

I am tempted only because i am so weak at running back, but Lacy has sucked all year

If thats a ppr I do it in a heartbeat, but Dez is far too valuable in standard leagues to ignore.

Don't do this deal. He's trying to rape you and you are paying full value for eddy lacy, a guy who has done nothing all year.

In no way would I give up dez bryant in that deal. Eddie Lacy is probably worth a low end #2 wr at this point. A guy like say Kendall Wright, or Brandin Cooks, Sanu. Guys like that.

Don't give up Dez Bryant at all.

I think you can probably count on Dez outscoring Lacy this year.

Who else is on your team?

    I'd consider this.

My girlfriend want some clutchfans fantasy advice

Someone is offering her Frank Gore and Shane Vereen for Steve Smith (who she just picked up off the waiver wire yesterday)

Her current running backs are Rashad Jennings, Doug Martin, Crowell and Jeremy Hill.

Her WRs are Calvin, Randall Cobb and Maclin

This is what I was thinking, thanks

Gore and Vereen don't seem like much of an upgrade imo

Gore is a good RB2 upgrade if you ask me.
