If return points count, Hester. I don't know your TE situation but Gates if you're playing matchups with your TEs. Rest of the players I wouldn't bother with if this is a 12 team league.
I'd be terrified of starting Floyd this week, if he ends up stranded on Sherman island like Jarrett Boykin was last week. Hester I'd doubt he tops what he did in Week 1 the rest of the season unless there is an injury. He's a WR4 there. Quick is mildly interesting. They've been waiting for him to break out for a while and said he had a great camp, but that St Louis receiving corps is just so damn wishy-washy. Gates - going to get some looks while healthy, thats for sure. I think he's a decent option in a pinch. Can still run his routes and Rivers will always look for him in the end zone. Avery - Bowe is back now, I do not like any Kansas City pass catchers except Travis Kelce. I'd maybe run with Quick or Nicks for now and see how it goes.
Should I cut one of the players below: Mike Evans LeGarrette Blount Mark Ingram To get a TE to replace Jordan Cameron (questionable for week 2)? I'm thinking Evans and Blount are expendable as I have Megatron, 60 Minutes, Malcom Floyd and Le'Veon Bell / CJ.
Should I trade Julio Jones for Rashad Jennings? My Rb situation is in need as I have Gearhart and Deangelo Williams as starters. Megatron is my other wide receiver. I have Hurns on the bench also Cordelle Patterson on the flex. Vernon Davis is my TE.
Me, personally, I would do it. Even if Hurns is a one hit wonder you still have Patterson as your WR2.
Even with the weak RB situation? Should I try to trade Cordarelle (who is my flex player right now) instead?
If you're starting 2 RB/2 WR/Flex, which lineup is going to consistently get you more points: Gerhart/Streamed RB (McFadden for this week) Calvin Johnson/Julio Jones/Cordarrelle Patterson or Gerhart/Jennings Calvin Johnson/Cordarrelle Patterson/Streamed WR I personally like the first team a lot better, especially when you consider the team dynamics of the Jaguars/Giants/Falcons.
I assume there are 24 teams in your league, which is why you drafted LeGarrette Blount....if there's less teams than that, then you should drop him and pick up another TE.
I would love to have you in my league. If you have Megatron, Jones, AND Patterson, then why not trade Patterson. His value in my opinion is most comparable to Rashad Jennings.
So pretty much what you're saying I want an offer for an upper 2nd tier or 1st tier RB before I consider trading those WRS?
Kaepernick vs Chicago Locker vs Dallas Who starts? I'm inclined to go Locker since Dallas defense looks pretty bad to me. What say you fantasy gurus?
Decided to keep my line up as is and for RBs I have Gerhart who is questionable but practiced And Williams seems extremely questionable, I doubt he gets carries. Mcfadden and Dwyer on the waiver wire, should I switch one of them out for Williams. I also have Sankey on the bench.
I like McFadden (as long as MJD is out) over Dwyer or DeAngelo Williams. If you're intent on trading, try to trade Julio Jones for a RB and a WR. Maybe a Jennings-caliber RB and a WR who has had a rough start (Cruz/Fitzgerald/Torrey Smith/DeSean Jackson/Hilton).
Yeah, I think Locker is a much safer bet than Kaep this week. I actually think (while healthy) Locker is gonna be a legit QB this season.
Dogggggggg it just seemed like you suggested I shouldn't take trades for any lower tier players dogg!!!! So going with upper tier players which sounds reasonable is something along the lines what I thought dogg!!! So you're telling me those expectations would be too high then?
You're telling me lol . I'm in a 12-team league for the past 3 years and did an auto draft the first two years ending up with 1st and 2nd place finishes. Last year I got 2nd after actually participating in the draft. And this league is a $50 team league too.
I don't think you'll be in bad shape with either, but if hard pressed I might lean Locker just because Dallas is terrible.
