Bush may be out with an injury though. I just am not sure. What is the most up to date site on these kinds of things?
I'm in the playoffs. I have two questions. Who do I play? Matt Cassel vs DEN or Matt Hasselbeck vs SF? Greg Jennings vs BAL or Michael Crabtree vs SEA?
I'd def. go Hasselbeck WR's...tougher call. I still can't bring myself to bench Jennings for a rookie WR. But personally, I am playing Crabtree where I can...as a flex or WR3 though
2 questions: Running Back (1) -Lawrence Maroney @ Miami -Jonathan Stewart vs. Tampa Bay Wide Reciever (3) -Donald Driver vs. Baltimore -Hines Ward vs. Oakland -Mike Sims-Walker vs. Houston -TJ Housh vs. San Francisco -Hakeem Nicks vs. Dallas Mario Manningham vs. Dallas
wait and see on Deangelo's status. If he's out or limited, I'd go Stewart.. otherwise Maroney WR: you have a bunch of mediocre guys. Driver and Ward are having throwback years. I think you gotta bench Ward (even if Ben plays) assuming they'll run the ball to get the lead, and then run the ball to keep it. So I'd go Driver, Sims-Walker, and Housh given Eli's struggles...but the last one is tough between all 3
Ward and Driver have been money all season. Every time I start Housh or Sims Walker, they give me almost nothing. My team is in first place right now and have been all season, but they have been struggling as of late.
Yeah they have been good all season. But I just think Pitt is destined to run against Oakland's crappy D. And they'll get the lead and then hold it. You'd just be hoping for a TD out of Ward. And yeah I'd start Driver like I said. Sims-Walker has def. been up and down. I think he's due, and we all know dunta is no shutdown CB right now. Housh is even more inconsistent...I've never been a fan. Like I said, tough call between him and the Giants guys, but they haven't done much either of late with Eli really struggling.
My team is really taking a hit lately with Ronnie Brown going on IR and AD taking a back seat to Favre. Brady also bombed last week.
QB question. Who do I start? Romo - Against NYG Eli - Against Cowboys I'm leaning towards Romo, because of the stress reaction to Eli, but not quite sure. Also WR question. Pick 2 to start. Driver - Against Baltimore Owens - Against Jets Crabtree - Against SF Lee Evans- Against Jets Manningham - Against Cowboys Berrian - Against Arizona. Right now, I'm definitely starting Driver. The other spot, I'm leaning towards Crabtree or Owens. For some reason I see Owens scoring another TD, but he's most likely getting covered by Revis.
gotta go Romo after what Revis has done to people all year and what he did to TO last time they played, I can't see how you'd go with him. I'd take Crabtree against Seattle.. at least you're getting a guaranteed 50+ yards there
Go with Romo unless the guy you are playing is starting Smith. Driver for sure, eww on the others. Owens maybe.
The other guy I'm playing is starting Miles Austin. I just hope they shut him down and use Witten and Williams a lot more.
that sucks, but it's not like he's gonna bench him. So at least you can say if Austin scores, you'll have a piece of it
Thanks for the input. It seems like whenever I start Hasselbeck, Cassel does good and when I play Cassel, Hasselbeck does good. Sucks having two mediocre QBs. Yeah, for Jennings and Crabtree it's for the Flex/WR3 spot. I have Sydney Rice and Wayne for WR1 and 2. Jennings has been unbelievable inconsistent but I haven't seen enough of Crabtree yet. Hard decision. Right now I have Jennings starting. Any other opinions on what to do?
ah, nice. if it's a flex spot, i don't think you can go wrong. as i wrote above, crabtree is almost a given for 50+ yards...and i think he's due for a 2nd score. That's why I go with him at the flex
Very sound advice. Right now I'm "hedging" with Sydney Rice because Peterson has taken a backseat to Favre as of late. And because I'm playing against a Aaron Rodgers/Donald Driver QB/WR combo, I'm hedging that risk with Greg Jennings. Hopefully Jennings will do enough to offset Driver. It'll be interesting to see if his Chris Johnson does better or my Adrian Peterson.
