I wouldn't. Jennings is still your #2 WR by a good amount, even with his inconsistency this year. I see why you're conisdering it based on your lack of depth (at least this looks like a real team). But I think as good as Hightower is as insurance (esp in a PPR league) for Wells... you have Betts, Forsett, and Bradshaw. One of them should be good enough in the event that Wells goes down.
Forte or Beanie Wells? Forte's likely to get more points in the passing game (it's a PPR league) than he will rushing. But STL is so horrible against RB's, you have to figure Wells has the potential for a good day. I need a win bad, so any help is appreciated...
I'd go with Forte. Did you not see the Eagles rejuvenate Tomlinson's career last week? Plus their secondary/linebackers are hurting big time so there is the passing angle too. Wells is still splitting carries and no matter which way you slice it the Cardinals are a passing team. I'd go with Forte.
For my flex spot in an Espn standard league. Mike Sims-Walker vs Buffalo Anquan Boldin vs STL or Ladell Betts vs the Cowboys
Didn't see this earlier but I hope you put in Boldin. MSW will get his 10 pts or so but I think Boldin will do better.
Ended up going with Forsett. Thank goodness. He's like an MJD-lite it seems. Can't believe I may end up making the right call out of all those options. Who would have thought starting two Seahawks (Burleson) against the Vikings would be a good idea.
I need 33 points to win with Shaub, Bironas and the two texan RB's to play. Can any of you Texans fans give me your opinion on Moats vs Slaton. Right now I'm leaning towards Slaton.
1st- drop Roy Williams for John Carlson? I probably wouldn't play either player ever. Which 2 to start? Jones-Drew vs SF Addai vs Hou Benson vs Cle (could be hurt?) Lynch vs Mia Rice vs Pit and... Sims-Walker, Boldin, Austin, Holmes, or Manningham alongside Wayne? reception friendly league
I would have said Sims-Walker before or after Thursday's games...so that's still my WR answer. and MJD (never benched) and Benson if he starts...otherwise Rice. Who's your starting TE? That would help the decision on Roy for Carlson. Though if you have no backup TE and you already have the 5 WR's you listed above and only have to play 2 of them, i think you can easily afford to cut Roy
Switching gears to fantasy basketball, here is my team: PG: Steve Nash SG: J.R. Smith G: Brandon Jennings SF: Carmelo Anthony PF: Josh Smith F: Luis Scola C: Al Horford C: Dwight Howard Util: Brendan Haywood Util: Jason Terry BN: Aaron Brooks BN: Carl Landry BN: Coery Brewer Thoughts? It's a head-to-head 12 team public league. So far it seems like I win 7/9 categories every week. My turnovers are usually 3 times that of the other team and my FG% is usually a little lower. I am pretty happy with the team.
I need some major points tonight. For flex2 do I go with Bush or pickup Bell? Or Faulk or Taylor maybe?
go for Maroney if he is available. If not, I would say Bush, he has been playing decently the past couple weeks.
