Definitely offer it. You're deep at receiver, so losing those guys doesn't hurt at all. And Keenum has been better than Ryan, anyways.
I could clinch the playoffs this week, but am affected by some byes. Should I start Andrew Luck (@ Tennessee, Thursday night) or Case Keenum (home against Oakland)? Keenum has put up solid fantasy numbers the past three weeks. Luck has not been great the past two weeks, has a decimated receiving corp and is playing on the road on a Thursday.
I'd go Keenum. Luck has struggled lately and I don't like starting people on Thursday if I can avoid it.
Which defense should I play this week? I have KC, but thinking of benching them and picking up another team Hou (vs Oak) Buff (vs NJ) NJ (vs Buf) Houston seems like a good matchup with Pryor and McFadden possibly out.
I really have a difficult time seeing the Texans lose this week. I would start them, and the Jets would come in at a close second.
i am going to use the JETS all the way through, if you look at their schedule it is favorable for the jets.
I'd go with Thomas. Can't trust Nicks, especially now with Andre Brown getting alot of touches and not Amendola because Vereen comes back this week who is also a big part of their offense.
I'd start Thomas mainly because Amendola is going up against a tough Carolina defense, I think Gronk will have the best receiving game out of all the Patriots pass catchers.
One more for you guys: Should I start Cecil Shorts, Percy Harvin or DeAndre Hopkins in the flex? Shorts will get a ton of targets, but will be blanketed by Peterson. Hopkins may finally see some more targets given the state of the Texans running game. Harvin would be a swing-for-the-fences start, knowing full well he will probably play limited snaps. My starting WRs are AJ Green and Jordy Nelson.
Hopkins if you want to be safe, but I'd personally go with Harvin. Who should I start at flex: Andre Ellington, C.J. Spiller, Riley Cooper or Anquan Boldin?
Cooper - Foles is throwing to him like crazy. I'm starting Ellington due to byes this week, but know it's a crapshoot because of his limited workload. Arizona's loyalty to Mendenhall is baffling.
I would advise you to wait and see on Harvin. Just coming back from injury, new team, new offense, new quarterback -- they're going to ease him in. I think you'd be nuts to go in expecting him to explode in his first game. Arizona is going to devastate Jacksonville by the looks of it. I'd go with Hopkins.
I think Ellington is a good play this week. Jacksonville is absolutely woeful against the run. Even if he only gets 50% of the carries (and Mendenhall did fumble last week), he's still a good bet to have a productive day. That said, you've gotta keep rolling with Riley Cooper.
I'm going with Harvin too. Lots of little reasons, but my main thoughts are that Carroll seems like the kind of coach who would try to give Harvin a TD on his first game back that's against his former team on top of that. If y'all remember, Harvin's season ending injury came off the SEA-MIN game last year also, which for some reason I think matters also.
