Jimmy Graham on bye. Have to pick up a TE since Fred Davis sucks ass. Who would you pick up out of these guys: Jeff Cumberland Kyle Rudolph Dallas Clark Jordan Reed Joseph Fauria I like Rudolph but am worried about the QB situation, if they decide to hand the reigns over to Freeman.
Is Ryan Matthews a must start against Jacksonville this week? I have no legit 3rd WR outside of Steve Smith and Decker so I'm forced to go RB. Well I have Miles Austin against Philly but I think Matthews is the better play. Also pick a TE: Celeck McGrath Cumberland or Reed
Thinking of offering my Stevan Ridley + Keenan Allen for Eddie Lacy + filler. I tend to underreact to big performances and the Lacy owner is a chronic overreacter that is always chasing points. Lacy seems like a high end RB2 with consistent production the rest of the way with RB1 potential some weeks if he gets any goal line opportunities. With Cobb out, I think the Packers can still have a really good balance and still get Lacy running room. The biggest question mark on Lacy is how many red zone carries will he get? Ridley and the Patriots love handing the rock in the red zone but they just haven't had many opportunities this year. I am still high on Ridley so this might be a bad trade on my part but the Patriots backfield is messy again and Vereen will be back in week 11 most likely. BTW, my RB1 is Doug Martin who is an auto start for me so trying to find a consistent RB2. Hopefully Ridley is it if Lacy is out of the question.
Russell Wilson? I would keep Russ, he's running more than Kaep... and Kaep has been handing the ball off a lot more. I would also keep Cameron and Nicks, I wouldn't ever trade starters or flex players for a D/ST.
Take it. Graham gives you the best TE every week and those WR's with Calvin gives you the best WR core in league.
Roll with Rudolph, he's the most involved in the gameplan with all these TE's and they play the NYG this week, the best matchup of this group.
If you can move Ridley for Lacy, I would do that. I like Lacy for the rest of the year over Ridley. BB doesn't care about his RB's, they'll be rotating all year, so owning those NE running backs will be a roller coaster. Lacy is their workhorse who will get the majority of the carries and goal line work as long as he is healthy. K. Allen might end up as the best WR for SDG the rest of the year, and they still have some cupcakes left on the schedule. Try to hold on if you need WR depth.
Soooo, here's my current roster (12 team/PPR).... RG3 D. Thomas J. Blackmon R. Wayne D. Martin D. Sproles J. Cameron -------- J. Gordon Z. Stacy T. Pryor S. Jackson K. Allen R. Randle Aaaaand, I just won to go 2-4 So, I'm looking at packaging players to get better/more consistent players. I'd really like to get Forte and considering offering Sproles and Jackson for him. I'm worried about SJax with injury and lack of explosive WRs now, and not a big fan of Sproles. But, is that giving up too much, not enough? I'm waffling. maybe throw in a WR like Randle, I dunno. Heck, I might consider trading Martin for him. Maybe I shouldn't be to concerned, but Forte has a bye week 8 and I won't have RB depth for that week. I know, one week, but I can't afford many more loses with 4 already. Want to package a couple of WRs for some upgrade as well. Anyway, would love a second (or more) opinion. Appreciate it.
Jimmy Graham on bye, so moving Julius Thomas to TE. Who should I start at WR and Flex? I have Andre, Jordy, and Pierre starting. My bench consists of Amendola, Royal, and Kenbrell; should I bench any of the starters for someone on the bench. I was thinking of benching Andre and starting Kenbrell, or should I stick with Andre. Will rep.
I'd stick with your stars. Andre has been pretty consistent in terms of racking up yardage, with the exception being the San Fran game. Just really, really needs to get that TD already (I have him also)
I'd consider benching Dre for Kenbrell as well. Did Amendola end up coming out of the game healthy? Also I would try to drop Royal and pick up Keenan Allen if he's still available. He looks like the go to guy at wideout in SD.
Amendola missed the rest of the game with what surely looked like a concussion, but there hasn't been an official report on his injury status.
I'm trying to decide between the Chargers D and the Lion's D. I have played the D who matches up against the Jags numerous times this year and it has worked every time. I'm afraid of starting San Diego though. What do you guys think?
In a 12 team PPR league, I wouldn't do any 2 for 1 players. Like that one you considered. Depth is key, especially through the bye weeks. If you feel like doing a 2 for 1 to make your lineup stronger, consider swinging for the fences. Sproles/Jackson for someone like R. Bush or J. Charles (not likely owner would take that deal).
This may sound stupid but I think Jacksonville can win that game. I would probably start the Lions D and hope they force Dalton into mistakes. Henne isn't really making too many risky throws and they fed MJD last week.
I would not do this deal. The guy is cherry pickin you hard. You don't need calvin johnson, for one thing. Your team is SET, and Cameron is nice insurance for if Jimmy Graham gets hurt. I hope you didn't accept this deal.
