I know I've gave Pun advice in the recent past regarding trading away Sproles for guys who have been higher pick busts (Spiller, Martin, Richardson). But would you guys think that a swap of two of those types would be a good idea? Sending: Trent Richardson Receiving: Doug Martin I have been hard on Dougie Fresh but I'm not to sure how good/bad Trent will be in a high powered Colts offense. So, basically, thoughts?....
I wouldn't. I still see D. Martin finishing with a better fantasy year. Tampa and Glennon coming off the bye week, I expect him to play better. The offense still has recievers who can stretch the field and move the chains. Tampa will lean on Doug to win games. Indy will lean on Luck. I just wouldn't do it.
Team is doing well but trying to shore up my bench with a RB. Dropping Blount for McGahee or Zac Stacy. Who would you rather? I am leaning towards Stacy due to upside and he should get goal line looks if the Rams ever find themselves in the red zone. I shouldn't need him anytime soon but could use him later in the year especially if my RB2's don't produce. McGahee should get at least 20 carries every game but I don't think he will do much with them. Looks like they will continue to try and pound the ball no matter what though especially around the goal line. It took McGahee 3 times to find the end zone from the 1 yard line last Thursday.
Go Stacy. For bench options or low end flex. I would rather start a waiver wire WR over trusting McGahee. He's not worth a spot on my roster in a 12 team league. Only 14 teams or more.
Perfect, logic wins again. I am glad I finally have a bench spot to take a flier on solid RB depth. I am in a 12 team league so someone will probably take McGahee but I would probably never start him anyways so he can be someone else's headache.
Got this offer today, I'm leaning no but none of the guys I'm giving up are typically starters for me. I would get AJ Green and Lamar Miller for Leveon Bell, Josh Gordon and Garrett Graham My other players I'd have left: RB: Charles, Lacy, Spiller WR: Decker, Desean Jackson, Stevie Johnson TE: Jimmy Graham
I would do this trade... To me it looks like Josh Gordon for AJ Green, the others you don't really need.
I will take that trade in a heartbeat. Hoyer is done, Gordon won't be as effective. and Garrett Graham is a temporary replacement.
Disagree on Gordon. I think you missed the part where he was already beasting last year with Weeden at QB. I think he's one of the best WRs in the NFL already, and it has nothing to do with Hoyer. That said, I would take AJ Green over him. And that's the most fundamental trade test: are you getting the best player in the deal? Yes.
Was offered: SEND - Sproles RECEIVE: Spiller and R. Woods I'm inclined to do this one and somebody in the other thread actually said to do it. Anymore input?
Two-parter: 1. Who would you target - Gronk or Cameron? My only TE is Daniels and the waiver wire is bare unless I spend a ton on Graham. 2. Would you do Sproles/J. Jones for Morris/one of those TEs? Here are my other current rb/wr on my 4-1 roster: Forte, Moreno, D. Williams, Z. Stacey, Megatron, Decker, Terrence Williams, R. Woods EDIT: Non-PPR league, FYI. Grassy ass.
I'd go for Gronk and pull the trigger on the trade. Gronk's scary because of his injuries, but if he's healthy, you'll end up with an incredibly high-value TE on your team.
Of course, he offers Sproles or Forte/Jones for Gronk/Morris via text, but gets cold feet when I officially propose it. Would you do Jones/Gronk or Decker/Gronk? I did pick up Graham.
