So Matt Ryan has a bye next week, but one of the guys in my league has Russell Wilson on his bench. Jimmy Graham is my starting TE, and Julius Thomas plays the Flex. I know he needs a TE. Do I propose this trade? Julius Thomas, Andy Dalton for Russell Wilson and Brandon Marshall. Should I keep Julius or propose that trade?
I like that trade much more. I'd take it with only Chris Johnson but if you could get Mike Wallace in addition (or Bowe if he doesn't bite) you're ripping him off.
Yes! Brandon Marshall has been and will remain a top 5 WR this year and RW is a huge upgrade over Dalton. Julius Thomas has had a tremendous start this season, but I can't imagine him keeping up this level of production with that many mouths to feed and Joel Dressean and Jacob Tamme looming behind him.
this is a fantasy trade. russell wilson for julius thomas would be far. Andy Dalton for Brandon Marshall is ridiculous. call me when he accepts such a lopsided trade.
Goodson looks great but Ivory is back too. Powell seems more of a protector for Smith. Loved Jeff Cumberlands athleticism since back at Illinois. He could be a beast like J Thomas.
I picked up Alshon Jeffery for Chris Givens. That should be an upgrade and bolster my bench some no? I have Cruz, Decker, and Thompkins as my other 3 wideouts.
Should I drop Ridley, Shorts or D. Wilson to pickup a QB (Ryan on BYE)? It's a 12-man, PPR league, I'm just well rounded and there are only 5 bench spots allowed. My other RBs: Bernard, Charles My other WRs: Amendola, Gordon, Blackmon, A. Brown, Marshall
I'd drop Wilson or Shorts, Ridley could end up bouncing back but at least he's not dealing with a neck injury or a stud WR that just returned and will take away targets.
Shorts is a reception magnet but I imagine I wont play him often if at all, if Amendola is healthy. Wilson has a favorable fantasy playoff schedule... and yeah, Ridley.. who knows. Upside there.
Since you have Graham already. I would make this deal. If you can trade a TE not named Jimmy Graham for B. Marshall, you do it. Russ is a upgrade over Dalton also.
I was offered Spiller for Sproles again. I am seriously thinking about taking the offer. In the Saints offense, you might have Sproles go off one weekend then Thomas, then Robinson, then Ingram and then none of the running backs. Anybody think differently?
Both Buffalo RB's had good fantasy days last week. But I wouldn't trade out of the Saints offense, not for a RB with an injury history and splits touches. Now T. Choice is coming in for breathers. EJ could be out for almost two months. So the Bills will be seeing a lot of stacked boxes with Thad Lewis starting. Personally I wouldn't do it. Sproles floor is 50-70+ yards.. and his potential is 80-90 total yards and a score... and no risk of losing touches in an offense that will average 30+ points all year. Ingram is getting phased out, Robinson is getting some play. So I wouldn't worry about that.
