Didn't really need him after all.

In the Clutchfans Chatters League, I had Fitzgerald, Sims-Walker, and Dallas Clark putting up near 100 between them.

BTW - you have to be the luckiest son of a b**** ever in that league, you're going to be 8-1, and you have like 200 less points allowed than anyone else.

LOL! I should be in 6th or 7th place if you go by points. I was thinking about that today actually. Every week I go into that league to set my lineup and am like damn my roster is weak. Yet there I stand at #1.

    Mwuahahaha

edit: picking up Julius Jones may be huge. Strange year

****, if Hines Ward does not put up 20 points tonight, I lose.

If only I had started Sims-Walker

You had Sims-Walker not starting against that piss-poor KC secondary?

    Fail.

Why would you play Hines against the Denver D in the high altitude in Denver while Sims was playing against KC at home?

    Signed,

    Sat Hines, started Sims. Win.

I started Aaron Rodgers, Larry Fitzgerald, Dallas Clark and Mike-Sims Walker.

If Matt Prater kicks 28 more field goals I could still lose.

    (fingers crossed)

You guys made fun of my team in the Smeg league. I'm beating the 7-1 team and will soon be 7-2, 1st in my division in only my second year in the league.

Looks can be deceiving. War picking up Cedric in like the 8th round.

BTW- Rodgers has been a consistent stud in FFB. I chose him in the 5th/6th rounds in two different leagues, and needless to say, I'm in second in one league (200 points more than first, just beat the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams) and now 2nd in the other, second in points.

He was one of the 5 "sure thing" QBs in the preseason. Brees and Brady at the top, with Manning/Rivers/Rogers close behind. Those were the 5 in the preseason, and everyone knew it.. don't think you're hitting on anything crazy. But def. a good thing that you have him in 2..

I knew where he was ranked, just shocked nobody wanted him and let me stack my teams (while biting my nails hoping he wasn't picked) before taking him. Pure luck I guess. So many went for Romo and McNabb before him and it helped me in my drafts.

I'll quote myself here. You guys have to put Mendenhall in a must start role from here on out unless you have absolute studs RBs ahead of him. I don't want to see any more should I start ricky williams on Mendenhall questions. Mendenhall is the #1 RB on a run heavy offense and he's their back of the future. He got 22 carries tonight and 155 yds against a tough Denver run defense.

    Run-heavy offense?

Pittsburgh usually ends up throwing more often than not, and the Steeler RBs don't get a lot of goalline looks.

I'm starting Mendenhall out of necessity in one league, but I'm not going to put him in my lineup over Ray Rice / Maurice Jones-Drew just yet.

Wow what an ending for me. I had Pittsburgh's D tonight and needed 25 to win. My opponent had a great week even though I had a great week as well.

Going into the last possession for Denver I was down 1 point and basically said my chances were over unless something happened and it did...thank you Carter for picking off that pass to give me a nice 2 point win. LOVE IT

Exactly. I will have to agree with you 100%. In the past Pittsburgh has been a team that pounded it in there with the run but that is not the case anymore. If you look a their stats the past few years they have relied on the pass more and more. Big Ben has had really great passing stats each year and did so very quietly.

Out of these four receivers, pick two.

Sidney Rice, Braylon Edwards, Greg Jennings, Michael Crabtree.

give me Jennings and Rice.. Crabtree very close behind Rice imo--could easily see starting him instead.

I was offered R. Grant for Favre straight up. Do I take it?
