PPR? Single QB? Who's your current starting QB? Your other RBs & WRs? It's an attractive offer. Just need a little more info. Haha, I know what you mean. I've gotten used to being more objective thanks to fantasy football. I was raised to hate the Cowboys, but I've been unable to pass on him as a mid-round QB for 3 of the last 4 years. It's been easier each time, and I can still root for them to get into deep holes so he has to pass.
actually, I would JUMP on this deal. Daryl Richardson looks like he is going to be a stud, and rams's offense looks to be a top 5 offense in the league. David Wilson has already had a set back, plus they brought in Brandon Jacobs and in 5 or 6 weeks Andre Brown will be back. you'd be an idiot not to jump at this deal.
Got a trade offer: Send: Danny Amendola & Carson Palmer Get: Michael Vick My other QB: Ben Roethlisberger My other WRs: Jordy Nelson, DeSean Jackson, Kenny Britt, Percy Harvin (possibly back in week 7). It's a 16 team auction league. Thoughts? I'm leaning towards sending DeSean Jackson for Michael Vick but I doubt he accepts it. He wants Amendola.
i'm playing on espn. not ppr. it's standard scoring. my starting qb is matt ryan and my back up is andy dalton.. my receivers are weak. other than andre johnson, i had amendola, but he's going to be out this week. my flex is garcon. My other receiver is ruben randle... should i do the trade to get jordy nelson?
Palmer is better than Vick. Why are you giving up Amendola in this deal again? If anything, he should be throwing you another player. This is the dumbest deal in history. I'd reject it immediately.
I would not do it. Ultimately I think James Jones eats into Nelson's production depending on the matchup. I mentioned this earlier, Daryl Richardson was part of the offense more often than all but 4 running backs last week. He will continue to be a big part of the scheme unless Pead slices into his snaps, which might happen.
Was offered Roddy White for Edelman. At first I was like hell yes. Now I'm not so sure... Patriots have been in love with Edelman for awhile and he played 99% of the snaps last week, plus Amendola is already missing time... Thoughts? Not a PPR. I'd rather counter with Amendola + Edelman for Cobb and White or a RB.
if I knew for sure that Roddy White's ankle injury was minor, I'd jump on that deal. But the fact that an ankle injury could be anything, I wouldn't risk it. It's a gamble. However, as far as talent and production goes (if you are okay with the injury issue), do the edelman deal. Edelman won't be close to Rodney White's production (even with tom brady at qb).
Just wanted to get your thoughts on why you are so against my proposed deal where I would be getting Ridley and marshall and giving james jones, jackson, white. If anything, it will make me feel better about the team I already have.
Nobody is going to take that counter offer. Giving White for Edelman who has been a non-factor for most of his career is a good deal.
because I think that ridely is a huge step down from sjack and then you've got to give up james jones and roddy white, both integral pieces on teams with high powered offenses. Marshall is great, but you are giving up a whole lot to get him.
Would it make a difference if I didn't give up jones. I have Fitz/White/Nicks/Boldin/Jones/Thompkins and I'm fairly certain he would accept even if I didn't include Jones. So basically, is the difference between ridley and jackson greater than the difference between marshall and white. If White wasn't injured, I'd definitely say no but because of the uncertainty, I'm not so sure.
yes, that's more in line. but I still feel that marshall v white has the potential to be a wash, whereas jackson will certainly outscore ridley almost certainly. the only real reason i see you winning a deal like this is if roddy white's injury is something more (like a high-ankle sprain). In this case, you'd win this deal.
