Starters (usually) QB - McNabb RB - Westbrook RB - Slaton WR/RB - Marshall WR - Driver WR - Colston TE - Celek DEF - Vikings K - Folk He does have Randy Moss.
I'm going with Malcolm Floyd this week. Any thoughts on how to enhance my team? Any moves I should make?
so he's starting SJax, Rice, R Moss, Ocho, and K Smith/Grant/Sims-Walker (best matchup) .. and you want him to make a trade to start Slaton (instead of SJax), Rice, R Moss, Ocho, and K Smith/Grant/Sims-Walker/Marshall (best matchup) Basically I feel like he's not gonna do it because you're downgrading a start position for him without upgrading anything. It's not like he has any remote use for Favre or Chester. In fact, he would cut one of his defenses and Chester most likely, meaning you probably can't get away with a 4 for 2 trade. Could only do 3 for 2, 2 for 1, 4 for 3, etc. based on his roster IMO, if you want to involve Slaton and SJax... you'd have to give up either Colston or McNabb to make a deal happen (while getting back someone else of course, but there's no point in figuring out potential scenarios unless you're willing to give one of them up) Just the way I see it all. I mean, if you were trying to deal with me, that's how it would work.
I'd start Mendenhall over Ricky Williams. Ricky is sharing the load and got what, 8 carries last week??? Mendenhall has been named the starter. Who cares that its against Denver. He's still the starter and will get more opportunities. Plus, Miami may get down early and have to throw to get back into it against the Pats.
I've got two flex decisions (in diff leagues) that I just cannot make my mind up on- Jamaal Charles / Ahmad Bradshaw ... I think KC is going to surprise Jax now that slow-ass 2.7 ypc Larry Johnson is out. I think Charles is in for a nice day on the ground, but not sure about his TD potential. Bradshaw is much more likely to score and he could get a lot of receiving opps. with SD's blitzing...but his injury and down last two weeks worry me. Leaning toward Charles. Jeremy Maclin / Kevin Walter ... Colts now have a depleted secondary and Walter is due with OD out. Then again so is Andre. Eagles passing attack is solid but Cowboys secondary should eliminated deep passing. I'm thinking Walter is a more reliable play this week. Any insight?
I think your observations are right on, except that the Cowboys secondary I think will give up a deep ball or 2. I'd go with Charles and Walter, but there's an easy case for the other 2 certainly. I think Charles should get 100 yards combined this week... yeah you're right, Bradshaw has more TD potential. Maclin is hit or miss, while we hope Walter should be good for some guaranteed points with OD out.
In my pay league I am desperate for some momentum and spent $30 this week to pickup Ryan Moats. Probably not a smart move at that price, but if I don't get a win this week my team is pretty much done.
Just pulled off a trade that will shore up my TE situation My roster QB: Brady WR: R.Moss WR: Desean Jackson WR: B.Marshall RB: Jones-Drew RB: Ray Rice TE: Had Owen Daniels, John Carlson Bench: Slaton, Mendenhall, P. Harvin, M. Manningham, L. McCoy Heres the trade I trade: Brady, Harvin, Slaton I get: Brees, Witten So now I pretty much swapped Brady for Brees, and got Witten for Harvin and Slaton. I think Brees has a pretty favorable schedule the rest of the way, so hopefully Witten has a better 2nd half of the season, he's been really quiet so far.
Benson or Addai? Keep in mind Benson puts up 100yds on the Ravens like its his job. And... In another league was offered Slaton, Sims-Walker, Brown (IND) for Benson and Crabtree. I may wait to see how Slaton does this weekend and consier it. Its a deep league with 3WR spots and 2 flex positions but not ppr so Venson is clearly the best player involved. BENSON guys. I am talking about freaking Benson this week. Thats why you don't draft 2 RBs back to back early. Cuz Benson's pop-up. I am talking about Cedric Benson. Go figure. edit- look I even spelled his name wrong in there once because its BENSON! Talking ab BENSON
Ditto with QBs...I picked Flacco in the 16th round. Anyway, Benson is much better than Slaton, dont do that trade.
Really struggling with this decision. Need to pick one for my flex position: Ryan Moats - Risky start. Safe move would be to see how today plays out. But what if he has a repeat of last week and I leave him on the bench? Michael Crabtree - Playing an awful Titans pass defense Julius Jones - He's playing Detroit's horrendous run defense.
