I'm not sure there's an expert around that can help you with that one. He actually finished top 15 last year (RB) I'm pretty sure, so 2nd round might not be a reach in PPR.
Just received a ridiculous counter offer of Peterson for Britt and Kendall Wright. Should I counter w/ Peterson for Ray Rice and AJ Green, or is that just combating ridiculousness w/even more ridiculousness?
Viable for sure, matters who is left on the board. I would be more comfortable with him in mid to late 2nd though. RBs I would take above him: AP Foster Martin Lynch Rice Charles CJ Richardson Alfred Ridley and maybe McCoy. But that puts CJ2k at the 11th RB, so early 2nd in a 12 isn't ridiculous.
This is my first draft from yahoo $20 fantasy pro league... 10 man. how did i do? 1. (6) LeSean McCoy (Phi - RB) 2. (15) Matt Forte (Chi - RB) 3. (26) Drew Brees (NO - QB) 4. (35) Reggie Wayne (Ind - WR) 5. (46) Pierre Garcon (Was - WR) 6. (55) Le'Veon Bell (Pit - RB) 7. (66) DeSean Jackson (Phi - WR) 8. (75) Greg Jennings (Min - WR) 9. (86) Chris Ivory (NYJ - RB) 10. (95) DeAndre Hopkins (Hou - WR) 11. (106) Kyle Rudolph (Min - TE) 12. (115) Antonio Gates (SD - TE) 13. (126) Sebastian Janikowski (Oak - K) 14. (135) St. Louis (StL - DEF) 15. (146) Ben Tate (Hou - R
Should I seap 1st round picks with the guy who has 1st overall? I have the 4th and we would just completely switch positions, no stings attached. I'm thinking this is a no brainer, but I'm a little reluctant to put to many marbles into the AP basket.
You did do well. A few comments: 1. Don't know if it's PPR, this team is better if it is. 2. Probably reached on McCoy there because of his injury risk. Top 6 picks in my mind (no order): AP, Foster, Lynch, Charles, Spiller, Martin 3. Flex might be interesting but if Bell works (i think he will) you'll be set. If there is another RB available (Richardson, G. Bernard, Bernard Pierce) then I would drop one of your TEs and pick them up. It's better to hope for a RB to work out from your bench, than to keep 2 TEs.
I would. I might then try to flip AP for someone else's 1st RB and improvements at another RB and WR spot.
Thanks for the comments, trying to get better at this. 1) its not a PPR.. its the standard Yahoo scoring system. 2) there is no flex position, you play 3 WR and 2 RBs.... thats why i don't have that many rbs 3) I was betting on chip kelly's offense for Mccoy to produce even more... Spiller and Charles have similar injury concerns also i think... thanks again for input. doing another $20 draft tonight for practice before i sign up for their $100 league.
If you're just looking for draft practice I'd recommend the ESPN Mock Draft Lobby to get some practice in (just pick a Snake with the right amount of teams) and you can pick your position and work on some draft strategies.
Ten team, .5per reception- picking out of the 8th slot: Is the second round (13th pick) too early for Jimmy Graham? Assuming i take a RB in the first round then take Mojo, Sproles, or Bush in the 3rd or 4th.
Matters who is left. Normally a QB might go and some WRs and you could still get someone like McCoy for your RB2 slot which would be better than Graham, in my opinion. But, Graham probably won't survive till your third round pick, so it'll be tough.
Nah, I'd definitely consider it, Graham is both safe and gives you a gigantic advantage over any other TE playing week 1.
Not too early at all. Graham is the single biggest week to week positional advantage in fantasy this year. He's worth it if you like him there.
Only way I would say he's not worth it is if one of the Top 10 RB's (Peterson, Spiller, Charles, Morris, McCoy, Foster, Martin, Lynch, Richardson, Rice) are sitting there, but that is unlikely at the 13th pick. Usually all of them will be gone by then.
