Jimmy Graham for Owen Daniels, Andre Johnson, Torrey Smith/Miles Austin? Yay or nay? Yahoo standard non-ppr. This is what I'm thinking of countering to a BJGE/OD for Graham offer. Don't like giving up the best player in a deal but I could really could use some WR depth as I have an injury-riddled cast of Nicks, Malcom Floyd, and Garcon to go along with a healthy Wayne.
I think i would go for that. Helps you out now and maybe long term. Graham while a stud has just been too injured to do anything this season.
Dwyer is still the 3rd string RB. He'd need more than 1 game to get in a time share. I think Mendenhall will share carries for a max of 2 weeks. I don't know. I don't like Sproles unless it is a PPR league. Brandon Lloyd on the high end probably, given desperation. I think you could get a #2 receiver (NFL, not fantasy) with little problem. If you can make it to the playoffs without him, I'd buy low on Amendola (maybe for less than Sproles?). I'd be tempted to test the market for Steve Smith and his 0 TDs frusturating standard league owners. Edit: I'd try to move Dwyer if I were you. If you can get some value that is. Mendenhall owner might be scared.
As you can probably tell, I'm trying to move M. Turner quickly. If I can get the other guy to accept, does this make sense: SEND: M. Turner (ATL) B. Lloyd (NE) RECEIVE: H. Nicks (NYG) D. Thomas (DEN) I also have the entire Steelers backfield and I'd like to dump Dwyer while he has some value. If I could get Maclin straight up for Dwyer, would that make sense?
Thanks for your input. I disagree, but it's always nice to see opposing points of view. Out of curiosity, why do you value Sproles so low? Compared to Lloyd, he averages more points, is more consistent, has more touchdown potential, and is guaranteed to get more touches. Yet you think Lloyd is on the high end of what I can get for Sproles in a 14 team league? For my receivers, I start Vincent Jackson and Harvin with Heyward-Bey/Cobb on the bench. I don't think I'd have any use for a Lloyd-caliber receiver.
I don't think Dwyer has much fantasy value. The only reason I picked him up as a FA was so no one else could get him. I didn't even start him.
You're probably right but can't sell low on Graham at this point. I'll throw in Floyd and see what he comes back with.
I would say you should be able to get someone like Maclin, Nicks, James Jones, Denarius Moore, Maybe a Randall Cobb. Probably more around a mid 2nd tier to 3rd receiver for him. Sproles is a hit or miss type of guy.
Sproles has 385 yards and 3 TDs this season. I own Sproles in my PPR league. Heck, I traded Tom Brady & Brandon Lloyd to get him along with Spiller/Rivers before the season started. Brandon Lloyd had a terrible game last week (which killed him), but has 65 targets on the season. Lloyd has the potential to bust out. Lloyd would be your 3rd receiver (A very good one for a 14 team league). If you want an upgrade to Jackson/Harvin, you probably need to package one of them with Sproles, and then you'd probably get any receiver you want. I don't see anybody giving up CJ/Welker/Green/Wayne/Cruz/Jones/White/Thomas/AJ/Fitzgerald. I might just value Lloyd more than you.
hmmm honestly i would keep what you have its about the same in terms of production only knack is Hicks is very injury prone. D thomas is probably the best out of that bunch. Turner looks to get less and less carries per game it seems as well. I would do the trade if your RBs are solid.
Here is my team as stands currently: Standard league (12 teams) QB: M. Vick, C. Palmer RB: J. Charles, C. Johnson, R. Bush, M. Turner, R. Mendenhall, I. Redman, J. Dwyer WR: B. Loyd, K. Britt, L. Moore TE: J. Graham, D. Keller DEF: Eagles K: J. Tucker
yes take the trade your wrs are hurting. Lloyd i just dont know about him i have him and i benched him this week. Esp. against the rams Fin will most likely be on him anyways.
Lloyd had a horrible game and is maybe being underused for his talents. He should probably have a bad game against Jenkins/Finnegan, and then he has the bye. Targets will be the lone data point supporting him, but he has to make those catches for targets to mean anything. And the targets I've seen he isn't coming close to or he can't complete the catch.
I'd do it, if you've really lost confidence in Turner. And Dwyer for Maclin sounds good too. You've got a better perspective on Eagles than anyone here, so if Maclin's over his hip issues and whatever else is lingering it should be a no-brainer
Depends a lot on if you believe those will continue to be misses, or if Brady will eventually start finding him. The targets at least show they are trying to get him the ball.
