Would you drop Varejao and pick up another big?

He's supposed to miss significant time with his injury

Is it time to drop Bargnani?

I am still in 1st place in my league, but it is tough having one less player every week than my opponent.

In a 12 man league, Varejao should be dropped. I'm sure there's a number of big men who are available. Semih Erden or Kosta Koufos?

I own Bargnani in one of my leagues and I've just been holding onto him... I go by the rule that it's the playoffs that really matters.. so as long as your roster is good enough to make playoffs, having a stronger roster in the playoffs matters way more. I'd stash him.

    Just got offered

    D.J. Augustin and Pau Gasol

    for

    Jose Calderon and Rudy Gay

I'd really like to get my hands on Gasol, and I'd trade Gay for Gasol straight up in a heartbeat. Not sure if I want to part with Calderon for Augustin, though. Augustin's been injured and Calderon's been pretty excellent recently. For reference, I am number 2 in my league... tops in scoring and second in assists, but middling in rebounds and blocks. Thoughts?

I drafted DJ in the late rounds and he was a real surprise contributor early and often. If it weren't for the toe injury he'd still be top in assists. I like Calderon cause Barg is out for now so someone has to score and make plays.

What I would be worried about is if Gasol keeps getting overshadowed by Kobe and Bynum. Kobe has been averaging at least 5 rbs per and Bynum is well over the 10 boards per game mark.

Gay is solid till Randolph returns. But if you need the production that badly from those two spots I'd say Augustin and Gasol are pretty fair.

And if you feel that it's still too lopsided add a lower level player with potential to make it a bit more even.

Just got offered Carmelo Anthony, Brook Lopez & Kris Humphries for Chris Paul, David West & Wesley Matthews... Very intriguing proposal... (the numbers are the rounds they were drafted in, I have a personal roster ranking file.)

Only unsure thing is Brook's health of course, if he keeps going off for 30+s points every night, I'm all in. This also means I will now be relying on Jeremy Lin, Isaiah Thomas and Lou Williams for all my point guard duties... losing a huge chunk from Chris Paul. But I am lacking one more legit big man for a balanced team.

    Present team:
PG (1) Chris Paul, (U) Jeremy Lin, (U) Isaiah Thomas
SG (6) Wesley Matthews, (U) Louis Williams, (U) Josh Howard
SF (9) Caron Butler, (9) Paul George, (U) Corey Brewer
    PF (5) David West
C (2) Al Jefferson, (4) Greg Monroe, (5) Marc Gasol

    Projected Team after trade:
PG (U) Jeremy Lin, (U) Isaiah Thomas, (U) Louis Williams,
SG (9) Paul George, (U) Josh Howard
SF (2) Carmelo Anthony, (9) Caron Butler, (U) Corey Brewer
PF (2) Al Jefferson, (7) Kris Humphries
C (3) Brook Lopez, (4) Greg Monroe, (5) Marc Gasol

Should I accept? I have the proposal sitting there, so I can wait a little bit unless he cancels it...

    Looking for some insight/help

Have the number 1 seed in my league so I have a bye this week. Playoffs start for me next week. I have Amare right now but he's injured was wondering who I should target to fill in for him should I drop him. Looking for scheduled games for the week of April 2nd.

    Sorry about the late reply
Have a new issue Nene has been in a walking boot the past few days. Was considering dropping him and picking up his back-up

Was wondering if I should keep him and pick up his back up or do a straight up swap

Also should I pick up someone from another team in case Nene is able to come back next week

hate to lose him for nothing

    Back to football...

Would you guys make this trade?

    Steven Jackson
    Sam Bradford

    for

    Eli Manning
    James Starks

I have Sammy and Carson Palmer as my current options at QB. :(

I think Carson may be a sleeper top 10 QB this season.

Steven Jackson is about all the Rams have on offense. I think Bradford will be on the lower tier of starting QBs in fantasy this year. One thing though, the Rams may play behind a lot which could equal lots of passing yards and garbage touchdowns.

Manning will be there, so long as Nicks and Cruz maintain production and the Giants have an up and down schedule as far as going against last year's pass defenses.

Starks value takes a hit with the Benson signing and there was always Kuhn there who will steal some of those goal line carries.

I'd stay put but may some others can comment and make you push the trade through.

Thanks Pun, for the advice. I rejected the trade once I found out the real reason for the Benson signing was Starks' injury status.

I countered the other day with Trent Richardson replacing Starks and he accepted. I feel like I received the better part of the trade as long as Richardson comes back at full strength to start the season.

I'm in position 11 out of 12 for my draft. Who should I be eyeballing at that position with the 11th and 14th picks?

Forte should be available around 11. Also be prepared to make a decision on MJD, I drafted 11th in my PPR league and he fell all the way to 10.

14th pick you could go any way honestly. You'll more than likely have Stafford available if you want to go QB or Jimmy Graham/Rob Grownkowski if you wanna go TE.

There will also be plenty of receivers to choose from. My plan overall this year has been to remain flexible and also to be able to take a chance on a few big time potential players here and there.

    Good luck!

Forte and Gronkowski are on my overrated list this year. I personally think MJD is going way too high. Receivers are deep this year. I'm hoping Brees falls to me at 11 but I don't see it happening.

    Hey Guys,

I have a couple of questions- I have my fantasy draft on Sunday and I need help.

I am the 12th pick in a 12 people league. Its a PPR league and there is one QB with an option of another in the flex.

I am considering trading my first round pick (12th Pick) and first pick of the fourth round for the 2nd over all pick in the draft- which could be Foster, Aaron Rodgers, or Mccoy

Should I take the risk and do it? If I get the 2nd pick, I could potentially take Peterson with the first pick of the second round.

    Another question

Who are the biggest sleepers in the draft so far? And who should I not pick?

Pick Titus Young, Ryan Williams and Jared Cook

Avoid Michael Turner, Roy Helu and Beanie Wells

Everybody is saying this about Turner but I am seeing this guy fall ridiculously low. If he happens to fall to me 4/5/6 as I've been seeing in some mocks, I'd have to strongly consider.
