I usually try to trust my gut, I'm starting Shady for sure but I really am struggling between Jones, CJ vs a horrible Colts team and Beast Mode against that stout Chicago D
I think you have to start Chris Johnson, and I don't think there really is a wrong decision between Felix and Shady. Shady has by far the worse matchup but he's a stud, and generally the rule is you don't bench your studs. That said, Felix vs. that horrid TB run defense that basically has no serviceable DTs to speak of is almost too tantalizing to pass up. And yes, the Cowboys WILL run when the matchup is great for them -- just see what happened against STL. I hope you started Julio Jones. You're definitely starting AJ Green, and I'd go Nelson over Brown. Both matchups are less than ideal but Nelson is the defacto #1 option in GB now and he pretty much will get the ball. Besides, I don't trust Ben Roethlisberger on one leg against a good defense (remember how he fared against Houston? Yeah.) As for the QBs, I've got the same quandary, and I'm starting Romo. It's a safe enough play for me as I have plenty of firepower elsewhere, and the Bucs are giving up 20FPG to QBs in their last 4 in a 4pt/TD scoring system, good for 5th most in the league. The Texans by comparison are giving up only 9.5 points (3rd fewest). Yes, it's Cam Newton we're talking about here, but I think Romo himself is a good enough fantasy QB that you can make that call.
I think I'm going with Romo because he's the safer play. I think my mind is made up Shady and CJ it is. As for WRs, I don't know. I think Jordy is a lock, and I did start Julio. Now I just need to decide between Brown and Green.
I think Green is an easy choice then. He's a better WR than Brown, has an easier matchup, is the clear #1 target for his QB and his QB is actually healthy. I think the choice is clear.
I don't like k.smith at all. He's had one good game, and a bunch of empty promises. I also would consider crabtree and iffy start. d.thomas looks like a great start in my opinion. And then I'd play moss.
I think you should start Kevin Smith if he plays. When he's on the field he's very productive and the matchup isn't scary at all. I would definitely start Moss over Crabtree. Giants giving up the most points to WRs over the past 4 weeks due to their depleted secondary.
maclin isnt a good play this week is he? yahoo says his hammy is still a concern since he didnt play 2nd half last week, also he'd prob be facing revis.
Felix Jones in a couple minutes, or Michael Bush? Bush is consistent workhorse, Felix Jones can gamebreak against crappy run defense?
Luckily, none of my opponents have romo, but I played freeman and this guy is scared of his own shadow. It is disgusting. My qbs suck so bad. It is painful, I bet dan bailey scores more than freeman in this game.
**** I would be weeping right now if I had started Cam instead. Also glad Felix hasn't put up 100 and 2 TDs (yet).
I seriously don't THINK felix is going to do better than cj or beast. You don't have anything to worry about.
Felix had himself a nice day with 131 yards. One touch down and he would have put up 19 points. And yes, the Romo call turned out to be money. My opponent has almost no chance of beating me now ... on to the championship game.
I put Felix in at the flex. I'm good with 131 yards. I think I'll graduate over to from casual to more competitive leagues now, go over into a power conference. I've shown I can beat my friends and have more time on my hands than them.
Should I go with Crabtree or Boldin? Crabtree has been more consistent but he'll be going up against the Steelers' defense. Also Dalton or Tebow?
Its RBs you don't play vs Pittsburgh, not WRs. I'd go with Crabtree. Tebow probably a safer play because of probable rushing TD,
