The first two times Beanie got hurt I didn't start him the next week and he went off. Then I start him after the third time he gets nicked up and he does nothing... He is projected pretty high in all the different leagues so he must be good to go.
have no idea if maclin/green will play this week. i'm gonna guess green probably doesnt go, simply because they're playing the browns, prob want him to rest, thinking they can take care of them without him. who are the WR i should target for this week? bennett needs to go since no cutler, keep damian williams or no?
Don't know about cutting Bennett just yet, depends on your faith in Orton. If anyone gave up on Moore after his goose egg, he could be a good gamble because DHB is unlikely to play. Moore is looking more like one of those feast or famine DJax/Vjax types, and a lot of people hate those. Santana Moss might be returning also, and he's been one of those consistent high floor low ceiling types.
Pick 2: Marques Colston vs NYG Mario Manningham @ NO Denarius Moore vs CHI Eric Decker vs SD Desean Jackson vs NE
Pick 3 of the 4 WRs Jordy Nelson (GB @ DET) Pierre Garcon (IND vs CAR) Plaxico (NYJ vs BUF) Manningham (NYG @NO) Pick 2 RBs Ray Rice (BAL vs SF) DeMarco Murray (DAL vs MIA) Beanie Wells (ARI @STL) Marshawn Lynch (SEA @WAS) Thanks
I'm pretty set on starting Kevin Smith (thanks, Fred Jackson), Michael Turner, and Victor Cruz but the other spots are up for grabs. Opinions?
i'm no expert, but i'd go with nelson, plax, manningham. reason being you trust painter/orlovsky or whoever is starting for them, to get the ball to garcon? i'd say murray and rice? i know the 49ers D has been stout this season, but i'm assuming you drafted rice in top 5, so you gotta play the studs. again, i'm brand new to this...just my take. moes or someone would know more than me though
yea, but are we sure orton is going to chi? i think KC prob picks him up no? guess we'll find out later what about a dexter mccluster? he counts as a RB and WR. if they get orton, pull the trigger there? or maybe even breaston?
Fred Jackson is injured Who would you start in your RB/WR spot? My options are: Jeremy Maclin (questionable) LeGarrette Blount (leaning towards) Shonn Greene Nate Washington Torrey Smith
chiefs took orton prob should get rid of bennett, and williams. should i look to pick up mccluster or breaston?
Updated... I dropped Manningham (tired of his no-shows and Victor Cruz stealing all his catches) and picked up CJ Spiller.... Soo.... Pick 2: Marques Colston vs NYG Denarius Moore vs CHI Eric Decker vs SD Desean Jackson vs NE Pick 1: James Starks @ DET CJ Spiller @ NYJ Jackie Battle vs PIT
hot hand Kevin Smith? trustworthy Michael Turner? a hard decision... Arian Foster. my RB1, suck it b!tch! for him this haiku.
keep JAX D vs HOU or add 1 of these teams: NO vs NYG SD vs DEN MIA @ DAL ARI @ STL STL vs ARI CAR @ IND DEN @ SD
SD seems like the safe play to me the 3 match-ups I bolded all have upside though, considering the opponents are garbage...
Funny because Denver seemed like the safe play to me. SD's best pass rusher hasn't played for 4 straight weeks, and Von Miller is playing lights out right now, and Dumervil's slowly on the rise.
Dang Freddie Jackson just met the IR. That probably *****s up a ton of playoff rosters. You guys think I should stick with playing Dre this weekend? Kubes is saying that he won't see 70 touches this game but I'm pretty sure Jax game plan would be to stuff the box since we have a new QB that is basically unproven and make us beat them thru the pass. I hate 'Pubes'!
SD might give up some turnovers, but they are going to put up points on Denver. On the other hand Denver's offense has been anemic, and will once again rely on the defense to keep them in the game. from a fantasy stand point I think SD is the safe play, against a bad offense.
just close your eyes and imagine AJ80 making a catch a running to daylight. it only takes one play to make your weekend. I can't imagine AJ making a comeback after 6 weeks and not making an impact. the guy has to be foaming at the mouth at this point.
