I have Ocho Cinco on a bye so I need to fill my #2 WR spot and flex spot. I can pick 2 players from this: Manningam @ Eagles Bradshaw@ Eagles TJ Hous @ Dallas Lee Evans against Houston I'm leaning towards TJ and Evans. Evans mainly bc he has 2 TD's in as many weeks with the new QB. Looks like he's Fitzpatrick's favorite target but I'm also a bit worried about the weather conditions in Buffalo. What do ya'll think?
The weakest part of my team is my receivers, but Housh has been riding my bench all year. I don't trust him. I say Bradshaw and Manningham are your safest bets. TJ and Evans have more potential to bust out a big game, but they could also get a combined 0 points. Tough call
I wouldn't feel comfortable starting both Giants players. Judging from the MNF game, it looks like the Redskins did much better against the Eagles in the passing game. Granted, they fell behind big pretty fast.. Damn these decisions!! You're right about TJ though. He has played well in only 2 games this season but I figured he might be due coming off a bye week. Lee Evans has put up double digits since the QB change so that was my reasoning behind wanting to start him.
i'd go bradshaw for sure 2nd choice is tougher. i'd prob go manningham, but i'd have TJ close behind due to the crappy dallas secondary (but Seattle's o line and offensive inconsistency worries me...which is why I wouldn't go w/him) i refuse to trust fitzpatrick
I have some problems to say the least this week. QB - Tom Brady is on his BYE this week. I have Joe Flacco and I usually would not mind starting him, but he is playing Denver this week. Should I go with him or I can add Matt Hasselbeck @ Dallas, David Garrard @ Tennessee, or Alex Smith @Indy. WR - Which 3 should I start: Donald Driver vs. Min, Mario Manningham @Phi, Mike Sims-Walker @ Ten, or TJ Housh @ Dallas? TE - Kellen Winslow Jr. is on his BYE this week. I can add Todd Heap vs. Denver, Tony Scheffler @ Baltimore, or Jermichael Finley vs. Min? Defense - Green Bay vs. Min or Min @ Green Bay? I have a 2 game lead on everyone else in the league, so it won't be a huge deal if I lose, but I would like to win
Westbrook's injury killed me and could have an effect on the rest of my season. My other leading back is Steve Slaton. I have Julius Jones, Felix Jones, Chester Taylor, and Jerome Harrison as back ups. I need something good to come along and fast!
Does it really matter? I'm not at the bottom of the waiver wire. Beanie Wells, Shonn Greene, Darren McFadden, Jamaal Charles, and Jason Snelling are the best backs I can think of at the moment that are available in my league.
How many people are in your league? cause the FAs in my 10 team public league has guys like Tim Hightower, Reggie Bush, Ahmad Bradshaw, etc.
I'm starting Garrard over Flacco in one league. That's the only one of the FA's I would consider going with. But only if you have an easy drop to make.. would be fine going with Flacco rather than dropping someone who could be useful later (I'd rather keep Flacco if he was the one you were considering dropping) Sims-Walker is a clear start. I think Driver should be also. Tossup btwn Manningham and Housh Tossup on TE, but I'd go Heap. I don't expect the 3 to differ that much aside from which one randomly makes the endzone. I give Heap the best possibility even against Denver. Absolute tossup on the 2 defenses. Nice luxury to have I guess. GB has given up tons of sacks, so I would guess that Jared Allen and Minny will tee off on him. Plus they have more big play (TD) potential. So I'd prob go Min...but it's easy to go the other way.
personally I'd want Shonn Greene over Felix...hell, even Charles (assuming LJ has action against him due to his twitter fiasco) or Wells. Hard to imagine Felix being worth consistently starting this year with the other 2 backs doing well and them worried about Felix's injury potential. But I could be wrong of course..
Mike Sims-Walker is who I'd go with. I am also facing a similar dilemma with the Brady Bye. Trying to decide between Hasselbeck and Garrard.
I have no TE to play this week so I am gonna drop Tim Hightower for a TE. For Garrard, I can drop one of my defense or Jonathan Stewart
Julius Jones might have something in him. Wait and see. Whats up with Cooley? Is he hurt? Do I have to make a deal?
TheFreak, I believe this time TEN will wake up... I just have a hunch... Cooley is hurt. Do not keep Cooley. I am trying to decide Rivers (vs. Oak) or Romo (vs. Sea)... Any thoughts?
Well that wouldn't be good. People are talking about bad weather (wind?) in BUF and Andre Johnson's health is in question so I'm thinking strongly about playing Garrard over Schaub. Also the way to beat BUF is on the ground.
Well, I also own MJD and Mike Sims-Walker so I guess I might as well monopolize the Jaguars offense for that day.
