I traded for Matt Ryan since Fitzpatrick is spiraling down. Gronk and Cruz have really come through for me this season.
Who to start this week? 2 RB spots, 1 RB/WR, 2 WR spots MJD v Hou Michael Bush v Chi Reggie Bush @ Dal Shonn Greene v Buf Darren Sproles v NYG Victor Cruz @ NO Denarius Moore v Chi Eric Decker @ SD Brandon Lloyd v Ari
Is McFadden targeting a week 12 comeback? Can't stop the Bush gravy train now, especially with AP likely out.
Here's my clusterf**k of a roster. It's a pretty decent roster but my receivers are so similar in quality, I never seem to start the right people. Who should I start? (I'm also picking up Kevin Smith and dropping Fitzpatrick.)
If I had to estimate I'd say there is a 35% chance McFadden plays this week and maybe a 40% chance he plays the week after that. History has shown he is not the same when he's not at full strength which is why they've being cautious with him. As long as Bush keeps dominating I don't see any reason for them to rush him back.
I would say even if McFadden comes back this week Bush is still a solid play due to DMC not being full strength and Bush's tendency to vulture TDs. Also how is anyone who has Brandon Lloyd not starting him this week against the weak AZ defense??
Better DEF matchup of the week? SEA vs. WAS (the Shanahans' cluster****) OAK vs. CHI (the Caleb Hanies) Or stick with DAL vs. MIA?
I wouldn't call Nate Washington or Beanie Wells better options at this point. Lloyd is super consistent for a WR; Nate is boom or bust. Beanie is gimping around and hasn't done anything in November. Pick up Kevin Smith, bench Nate and Beanie, and play Lloyd.
Damn, after all that I was still able to pick up Smith this morning. Thank goodness for my phone app. Hope you guys are right about Smith. I could really use some help at RB. I've had some pretty good FA pickups this year. Picked up Jordy Nelson, Torrey Smith, and the Houston defense off the scrapheap so far. Now add Ogbonnaya and Kevin Smith to that list. Hope they both can keep up my good fortune.
Hmm, I'd rank em 1A and 1B Cruz and Lloyd, with Bowe, Marshall, and Washington the kinda guy you might sit but then feel dumb when they go off. Washington vs Tampa seems like the best play since KC has Pit and Mia is at Dallas. DeSean Jackson is a super wildcard too.
Do you see how I am constantly stressed every week? This week was the peak of my futility as I started Marshall, Bowe, Wells over Cruz, Washington, and Lloyd. Also, I'm going to stick with Wells at the flex because he's going against the worst run defense in the league.
Rams were also the worst run D in week 9 when Beanie got 3 points. Believe me, I'm also a Wells owner. You might as well gamble with Kevin Smith over Beanie the gimp.
Why is Ryan Grant projected so high in my ppr against the Lions, @ 16 points? Do they have some inside info on Starks' knee that we don't have. And is Jabbar Gaffney or Moss worth picking up and stashing to the bench, I'm trying to get Kevin Smith or Toby Gerhart for my RB help.
Victor Cruz has only had 1 real stinker of a game since his breakout. He's been a must-start for me. Starks is supposed to miss the game.
I'm praying none of the 5 ahead of me in waiver priority go for K. Smith. I started the season 1-5 and am now 5-6. No playoffs but I still have a shot at 3rd which pays out. Now, I lose AP. I lost Bradshaw. BJ-GE is hit or miss. Since I made the trade that netted me Stevie Johnson for Stephen Jackson, Jackson went on a tear and Johnson has done next to nothing.
Pick 3 of the 4 WRs Jordy Nelson (GB @ DET) Pierre Garcon (IND vs CAR) Plaxico (NYJ vs BUF) Manningham (NYG @NO) Pick 2 RBs Ray Rice (BAL vs SF) DeMarco Murray (DAL vs MIA) Beanie Wells (ARI @STL) Marshawn Lynch (SEA @WAS) Thanks
Hes been a little better last couple of weeks though. Got 23 rushing oppotunities vs PHI 2 weeks ago in a win, last week went up against tough SF run D but got 8 chances and averaged 4.1 yards per rush
