Celek is one of the top producing fantasy tight ends. Why exactly would you drop him for any of those guys?
I wish I had more that you have... cripes, how'd you get so stacked? How many teams are in your league? Here's my line-up (this week): QB: Ben Roethlisberger RB: Adrian Peterson RB: Ronnie Brown RB/WR: Austin Collie WR: Roddy White WR: Sideny Rice TE: Jason Witten D/ST: Philadelphia Eagles K: Rian Lindell Bench: RB Ahmad Bradshaw RB Darren Sproles WR Derrick Mason (bye week) D/ST Denver Broncos (bye week) WR Mike Sims-Walker (bye week) QB David Garrard (bye week) So I'm considering proposing a trade of Sims-Walker/Bradshaw for Forte/Cutler. I don't really need Sims-Walker since I have White/Rice/Mason, and I won't need Bradshaw if I have Forte (who is obviously better than Collie in that RB/WR spot). However, my QB back-up will be a large upgrade from Garrard to Cutler.
He's been dropping passes recently. I think he produced when Kolb was at QB, but now that McNabb's back, Celek hasn't been as productive.
To be fair he has Ocho Cinco, Moss, Greg Jennings, Percy Harvin, Devery Henderson and Jeremy Maclin. His starting TE was Dustin Keller lol.
10 team public league. I think I am a pretty good drafter. I never get caught up with the experts saying running back need to be picked first. QBs are the most important fantasy players. Have a similar strategy every year, grab 1 good RB before they are all gone, then draft a QB early. I always take WRs late, Ward and Driver are available late almost every year and they have decent production. I also got a lot of good guys off wavers including the #1 kicker in Tynes and Minny's D. Also Flacco, Bradshaw, Sims-Walker. 1 mistake I did make was taking Anthony Fasano fairly early in the draft.
have my nba draft on sunday night... 12 team 10 cat rotisserie league.... have the second pick... will take whoever is left from paul or LBJ with #2, what are people's thoughts about who i should be looking at with both picks #23 and #26???
I am completely opposite of you. I take WRs early as they are most predictable and consistent and less injury prone. Target specific 2-3rd tier QBs, this year Rodgers & Shaub specifically. Get 1 stud RB and 2 question makrs, this year it was pretty much guys like Moreno, Benson, Rice, Lynch/Jackson, and/or McFadden. Its paying off too. Goes to show any strategy has merit.
I wouldn't start any KC offensive player, outside of Bowe (when healthy). Using that KC tight end is a Fail unless you are really desperate for a TE.
Rodgers actually went in the first round of my draft. I find that there is always a few receivers that will emerge and you can pick them up on waivers if you are paying attention. But you are usually fine as long as you don't make homer picks or make stupid mistakes early on.
Ok, I have to start 3 of the following: Cedric Benson versus Chicago Thomas Jones at Oakland Pierre Thomas at Miami Ahmad Bradshaw versus Arizona Stephen Jackson versus Indianapolis What do you guys think?
