What are yall's thoughts on Frank Gore? 3 good weeks in a row after some real rocky lows. Fountain of youth or upgrade while he has value?
Flex help across various teams. Rank in order of preference please: Jackie Battle (KC) Manningham (NYG) Maurice Morris (DET) Delone Carter (IND) Crabtree (SF)
For now I would stick with your lineup and go with Maclin in the flex. When Mendenhall shows he will garner 15-20+ carries again, use him in the flex. Colston is tearing it up and Fitz is a must start.
Battle, Morris, Manningham, Crabtree, Carter. I don't like Crabtree ... inconsistent plus CLE suddenly has a really good pass D with the return of Joe Haden. I would probably rank Morris over Battle if Detroit weren't such a pass-heavy offense. And of course, you don't want to start the 2nd string RB on the worst team in the NFL, do you?
I'm becoming a manningham believer. I am not as high on Jackie Battle. I would rank: 1. Manningham 2. I'm going to give Crabtree a boast in ranking this week. 3. Jackie Battle The others don't matter.
Battle and Morris are the two most reliable options in that list, even if Manningham has potential upside. And again, the Browns already give up the fewest FP/G to WRs, and they just got their shutdown corner back from injury. No way I'm starting Crabtree this week. Not doing it. He has to show me a lot more.
PICK 1 for WR 3. Greg Little & CLE BRowns @ 49ers or Antonio Brown & Steelers (less than 100% Hines ward) vs Patriots?
I don't agree. And, I am not talking about upside. Battle has had, what?, two descent games. Even manningham's bad games are nearly as good as Battle's two descent games he's had. Calling Battle reliable without a lot more field time is just risky in my option. Morris, don't get me started on that guy. That team is built around Stafford and Megatron. The guy had 9 carries last week. NINE. I'm sorry but I'm not pinning my hopes to that. I agree that Crabtree is more of a gut call, but he is a 3rd year receiver coming off a good game who has produced a 700 plus yard season. I'll take that over Battle and what he's done, which is nothing. This is just my opinion.
Morris pretty much split carries with Keiland Williams last week didn't he? That offense is in trouble, the OL hasn't learned how to grind up the field with a traditional tailback.
I have a WR spot open. Who should I pick up? Nate Washington @Colts Jabbar Gaffney @Bills Torrey Smith @Cardinals Also I need to start someone at my W/R position. Who should I go for? Daniel Thomas @Giants Jackie Battle @Chargers Marshawn Lynch @Bengals Kevin Walters @Jaguars
This is a no brainer, no matter what 'what' has to say. Go with Antonio Brown against a horrendous Pats D, Hines being out gives Brown a definite boost in what should already be a high scoring game.
I would pick Brown also. Brown is starting to take targets away from Mike Wallace. That is something. Hines Ward being limited is a bonus, but even if Hines were playing full strength I still like Brown.
